new to me used S8 just updated to G950FXXS8DTC6 / G950FOXM8DTC1 / G950FXXS8DTC1 (Apr 1) (G950FD)
Just got this (ebay), used, but knox bit is 0 (yay).
After it took the update, I did setting/reset/factory reset to make sure all was clean.
So been checking it out.

4g sig is weak inside apt (new windows/steel/concrete etc) not as good as Moto X4 for phone call sig strength, so trying "4G LTE signal boot" app but open to other suggestions!!! <-------

Takes nice pics! even in twilight. (HDR = on)

BUT, I called myself via Skype and phone kept on ringing even when it went to voicemail. Why? Way to stop that? Didn't stop ringing until I hung up on voicemail.

I even reset the note 8 phone, but i never get any security updates or OS updates. It is supposed to be upgradeable to android 9. Currently runs android 8.0.
So what is the deal here, my daughters Verizon note 8 is running android 9, and os does get security updates.

My wifi keeps turning on by itself and I can't figure out how to stop it. Can anyone help me please?

When I power up a notification saying temperature too high powering off. Phone turns off. How can I fix that or bypass it?

I didn't even see it flying past me, I just heard a quick rough sliding noice inside the cabin followed by a distinct loud smack and what sounded like several separate pieces breaking apart. . I immediately thought was that my phone? looking threw my drivers side view mirror. I knew that had to be my Note 4 on the pavement behind me. I immediately hit my breaks causing the approaching SUV behind me to change lanes.
My N4 was not in a case and had no screen protector. I picked up the three individual pieces, the phone , the battery and the back cover plate.
Looked at the screen and to my surprise, I could see no physical damage. I turned it around and sim card as well as the external sd card were still present. Put it back together and booted just as before. It's been two weeks and my Note 4 works as good as ever. The only difference is a small indentation in the uper right hand corner of the aluminum housing.
I wonder if Samsung and Timex joined forces that year on manufacturing the Galaxy Note 4. You know "Takes a liking and keeps on Ticking".

Alright. I've been all over google and haven't found an answer to my question:

Is there any way to set my Note 8 to tap to answer/dismiss versus swipe to answer/dismiss? My Galaxy S7 could do that. If the Note 8 is so advanced, where is tap to answer?

I keep reading this is possible, then the conversation collapses into a discussion about apps that can do this because the OS doesn't have that function anymore. Now, I need a real answer. I hate swiping all the time because it seldom works for me.

Please help me get a real solution to my issue...

So if I sync phone A does only the data on phone S sync to my Google account, or does the data on both phone A and Phone B get synced at that time? And if I turn off sync on Phone B but it's on for phone A, does phone A only get synced then?

I guess what I'm really asking is if I sync phone A, do I still have to manually sync phone B to get saved passwords and site settings in phone A or is it automatic?

#1: The Beacon

Inspired from the Lord of the Rings scene, where the beacons of Gondor were lit. The Player needs to tap the beacon with the blue character within 0.4 seconds of the background beacon's lighting. If you do not tap the player in time you lose. The game keeps track of your wins and losses.

I dont know how this feature got activated but when using volume buttons when phone is locked the so gs gets skipped. Volume up brings the next song and volume down the previous. I want to disable it. I am on android 10. Any help?

Recently bought a magnetic charger kit where you plug the magnetic bit into the phone and the usb has a comparable magnetic end to go with it. But I noticed with this method, you can't access the phone with Android File Transfer.

Is there a workaround? Or do I have to remove the magnetic bit and plug in the old-fashioned way every time I want to use AFT?

I have a rooted Device and the Internal Storage is almost full with no way to find where are almost 50 GB from total 128 GB are used .
I kindly need an assistance to know how to track the phone files in order to locate the used files and delete them if needed . I do not want to use restore factory settings option .
The rooting was done with Magisk Manager .

I am developing an Android game. Nowadays apps in store must display tons of user consents, regulation information, rodo agreements, etc. This is a difficult topic for a person that is not a lawyer.

Obvious way to accomplish that task is to 'get a lawyer'. Sure that would be great, but this expensive for a startup without any funding. Such lawyer is also not so easy to find.


Therefore my question: Is there any resource on the web that could help in organizing law-related consents?
