My wifi keeps turning on by itself and I can't figure out how to stop it. Can anyone help me please?

just an fyi, wifi really does not have that much of a drain on your battery life, unless your wifi signal is really weak.
so it turns on even if you have wifi turned off? are you sure you are not doing any accidental toggling wifi on?

No...I don't even touch the phone for a couple of hours and it turns on. The problem is where I live there is no wifi so I cut it off so my phone will use mobile data instead of always searching for a wifi signal first. It slows my phone down.

Thank you. I did go to advanced wifi settings. It was set to turn wifi on automatically so I turned that off.
