As the title says, this issue has been on-going since who knows how long, i only noticed it recently though.

If you enable the "Save to Gallery" option under Storage & Media in settings, it auto saves the photos and videos in the following places:
storage/emulated/0/viber/media/Viber Images
storage/emulated/0/viber/media/Viber Videos
Which we all know this always saved there.

Now in addition Viber also creates a "viber" folder with the duplicates under:
storage/emulated/0/Pictures/viber (for images)
storage/emulated/0/Movies/viber (for videos)

Now here is the other messed up issue, if i disable the "Save to Gallery" option, Viber automatically changes the folders below to Hidden in my gallery (with a dot infront), i change it back but then i dont get duplicates in my gallery anymore, everything goes in(if i click on the media):
storage/emulated/0/viber/media/Viber Images
storage/emulated/0/viber/media/Viber Videos

BUT the issue then arises when i want to send a photo or video WITHIN the viber "gallery" message, the photos ive received during having disabled the "Save to Gallery" option are no longer showing in there. I have to then go to my gallery and then "Share" the photo.

This is a very annoying problem to have and its taking up space on peoples phones by duplicating photos and causing issues. I am really surprised no one has noticed this.

Ive tested this on 2 phones so far and a friend noticed the same thing.

I hope Viber can see this issue, reproduce and fix it.

To @ViberMedia, i dont have the time to file a bug report with Viber. This is happening on all types of android phones. Please please fix this!

Hello,

Is there way or an update planned to remove the Icon Frames? This use to be a settings option and isn't for the s20. I tried looking for other Icon packs without frames but it seems like they've all been updated to use them now...or adapt to the phone setting and applying them. It's like an update in the last few days caused this.

I hate them. Please give users and option for disabling them...or let me know if you've found a work around.

Hi There, I have a slightly antiquated Galaxy Grand Prime SM-G530W on lollipop 5.1.1.

Somehow I set the phone to block any number coming up “Private Number’ which isn’t the best as I’ve missed a few legitimate calls from that title. I’ve checked forums, etc, phone settings through & through and no dice.

I DO NOT want to factory reset…… is there any option other than that for me?

Hello everybody. I am looking for an application which block mobile internete (mobile data) for all installed apps. I want to mobile data for all apps be blocked except Viber.

Can you reccomend me an aplication such as that?

Hi all, I’ve been learning JAVA language and I’ve just started an online course on android application programming and am trying to use Android Studio.

On my first attempt I am already stuck. When I try and launch a Hello Word I get this error message : « Emulator: ERROR: resizing partition e2fsck failed with exit code 8 ».

I’ve tried to change the API level and the screen type that I tried to launch in on, but nothing seems to work, and the problem keep happening no matter what I try.

I would been super grateful if anyone had any advice for the complete nood that I am!!

Hi, I would like to create an app that users can upload information to that will populate real time within the app.

ie: If in the app there was an option to tap red, yellow, and blue buttons for different colour cars and then whether they were men or women driving, and then a section where you could guess their age (ie put some variable data in) and then that info populate on a growing database within the app.

Okay so i have two phones:

Phone 1: Galaxy S7 Broken Screen & Power Button (I think fingerprint is set up )

Phone 2: Galaxy S7 Broken Screen (No Passcode/Swipe)

Okay so i have an adaptor coming today so i can use the mouseto swipe access on phone 2.

The problem comes with phone number 1 i am thinking of changing the mother board from phone 1 to phone 2 once i have backed up the data. How ever i am unsure if this will work.

Is the phones internal memory situated in thephones main motherboard orr...?

hi, does anyone know how to automatically save your parking location or get the coordinates sms'd? Bixby has a location feature, but the trigger only works when connecting to a car's bluetooth, not disconnecting. Samsung Car has this feature, but i prefer not to use it

even though i had disabled the battery opt setting for this and keep setting it to 1 min ... keeps reverting to 30 secs :/
...is it related to a face screen on feature maybe?

Please help!

I searched a lot and this seems to be often problem, but I yet did not find a solution. In my Camera folder there a lot of photos missing, I have photos from specific date but instead of 20 photos I took that day there are only e.g. 3, and that is the case for multiple occasions - so there are only about 20% photos I took with my camera shown in my gallery.

As i believe it has something to do with OS updates. How can I recover / unhide my photos? (I disabled hidden files).
