Just got this new phone. It has android 10. I'm trying to get night paging to work so I can mute my phone but still get notified if I get paged. The paging program uses alarm volume. But I don't have alarm volume. So I can't set the alerting app to use alarm volume. To get it to work, I need to leave notifications volume at max at night. But I don't want to be alerted for non essential stuff at 2 am. Is there a way to add alarm volume back to android 10? Btw, I have a samsung note 10+.

Well I tried to attach an image of my volume options but it's not allowing me to upload the pic. Only options I have is ring, media, notifications and system.

The apps I previously used to turn off and lock screen, by turning phone face down or covering the screen, do not work with my new S10+. Is this a common issue with this phone? Do anyone have apps performing this function? So far I have tried 6 or 7...

Integral 512GB Micro SD Card Premium 4K High Speed Memory Microsdxc Up To 100MB/S V30 UHS-I U3

Formatted it as exFAT and was filling it with new audio/video files fine on my Samsung note 9 then I noticed when I hit roughly 32GB mark files seemed to transfer via my PC however when I checked on my phone they were there on my phone but wouldn't play. If I reboot the phone those files disappear each time I try to transfer them again. This has happened with multiple files and seems to happen around the 32GB mark which leads me to think it's some kind of formatting memory limit issue, however I previously had a 256GB SD Card and had no problems filling that past 32GB. Any ideas how to solve this?

It's been plugged in for I don't know how long. The wall switch is up and I checked the connections between the speaker, the cord, and the wall wart. It comes on more or less, but the "button" at the front keeps blinking and eventually it shuts off on its own.

Hi folks! My name is Jerry. I recently got an Onn tablet with keyboard because I was curious. I'm pleasently surprised. It's much nicer than I expected. I've had numerous other Android devices going back to the Nook HD+. I also currently have a Samsung Tab S2.

I'd like to chat with others who have the Onn. My one disappointment is battery life. Has anyone figured out how to increase it? I'd love some tips.

I'd also like to find a different on-screen keyboard. I'm currently using the Hacker's Keyboard, which has lots of nice features. Which custom keyboards do others like?

Google play services is running in the background and using all my battery. This started after my update to android 10.

I cant put play services to sleep and I've tried everything to slow it down.

I am currently stuck in kid's mode due to my son entering the exit password wrong way too many times - phone seems to of glitched out. I can't try exiting kid's mode or enter any of the apps in kid's mode (detects I am pressing the buttons but won't do anything other than that). I have tried going into recovery mode - did an "online update (keep data) - did not work once the phone loaded back up. I am not experienced enough to choose any of the other options as I do not want to lose photos on the phone (even after countless hours of searching on google). The phone is an Oppo Reno Z. Just wanting some advice on other things I could try via recovery mode as that is the only thing the phone is able to do. I don't believe I have lost any data because my phone has gone into quiet mode - only does this at specific times and I am still connected to my wifi

I got this phone as a gift from Friends in Switzerland. When i wanted to use it in my country, I discovered it was network locked. A quick look online revealed I needed to supply its IMEI and the network it's locked to, Which I cannot figure out.

So in summary, how do I check the network its locked to? I can't inquire from the friends because I have since lost contact with them. I've tried https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...uyen.phoneinfo but it doesn't show the network operator. Just says 'Sumsung' Any ideas on how to unlock it or, get it's locked network?

I have had my phone for a year and a half now with no issues. I bought it brand new and have kept care of it since. Then yesterday sometime between leaving an event and driving home my phone started lagging. I had been using it all day with no noticeable problems. When I got home I tried to open YouTube and it crashed so I closed and opened it. I did this two more times before attempting to restart my phone. I held the power key down and felt the phone vibrate, but I wasn't prompted either the power off or the restart buttons. Then the screen went off after lagging a bit. When trying to remedy this the phone wouldn't turn on for a minute, the phone vibrated everytime I tried using the fingerprint scanner, as if it recognized it and unlocked, but the screen didn't come on for a while. Then when it did turn on it required me to put in my pin and read "pin required after restarting your device". So I did then this whole process repeated 2 more times, and when it didn't turn itself off most apps crashed and Google wouldn't work either through wifi or data. I plugged my phone in to charge and it worked. I went to sleep with no answers. Next day (today) I woke up to a charged phone that has buzzard problems. My alarm went off with no sound and the clock app crashed. I played music and it came through the phone speakers at full volume and it wouldn't turn down. This happened also when I put earphones in with the phones boxed-in dongle, and when I tried a Bluetooth speaker that I use often. The phone kept playing music full volume through the phone speakers. As I'm rushing to get ready for work I tried a couple more things. Again Google won't work - the pages never loaded, yet Firefox works which is how I am here now. I haven't tried Chrome though, and the Google I tried was just the google widget/app thing I'm guessing. I successfully downloaded an internet security app and avast antivirus software with no problems, and they didn't turn up anything. The one thing that I haven't been able to find out is an unknown notification icon in the status bar. It is a rectangle vertical, with a angled cut in the top right corner making it look like a paper with a fold in it (or even sort of like the SIM icon), but it has an exclamation point in it. And I didn't notice it until I had the crashes started yesterday. I tried a search of what it meant since I have no notification prompt of if and didn't find anything yet. I wish I had more time to research answers but I am at work. As I'm writing this now the phone has not lagged, crashed, etc., but I'm still finding weird problems as I go like no being able to swipe through photos in my gallery? And now Gmail app doesn't work. I'm going to go to a mobile place and ask about it later today, and I hope I have given enough info about my problem here too, but I haven't seen anything like this before on any android I've had

I’m getting close to releasing my first app. I’m wondering if it would be beneficial to create a simple wordpress website that I can use to showcase the app (or multiple apps in future) and link to the app in the play store. The idea being to obviously drive more traffic to my app.

Now I’m not expecting my app to be particularly popular or make a great deal of money. I’ve done it more as a learning activity. Similarly, creating the website will also be a learning activity, but crucially this one will cost money as I’d need to pay for a domain and hosting etc, so I’d only be willing to go down this route if it’s likely to provide a decent amount of traffic to my app.

Do any developers here have a similar site to showcase their apps? Does it provide much traffic to your app, and do you consider it a worthwhile expense?

I just got a note 10+ phone. I work in IT and share an on call rotation. When I'm on call, I need to wake if I'm paged. But I don't want to leave my phone unmuted all night. I have a pager app. For the pager app to work, my call volume or alarm volume is used so one of the two has to be max volume.

Right now I'm trying sound profiles by corcanoe. It kind of works. I can't use the built in night profile because it puts the phone into dnd and doesn't alert me. So I created a profile called nite and I put the volume max for calls and alarms. I then put the volume for media and notifications the lowest setting without turning it off.... some reason if I silence media and notifications, the alert app doesn't alert me at all.

I've used this sound profiles app for years on other phones and it's worked great. Some reason on this phone, even though the nite profile is set to have max volume for calls and alarms, when I check the volume in the android settings, it's one notch above muted. I can barely hear the phone alarms.

I tried using the built in do not disturb and even with allowing calls and texts, the pager app doesn't alert me.

So, does anyone have any suggestions for a sound profile app that would not have this issue? Btw, I'm running android 10 if that matters.

Last Sunday I upgraded my phone to the Samsung Note 10+.  I think it's financed for 2 years for $1000.  Today i go on Samsung's website and they're selling the Note 10+ for Verizon for $739.  I searched google and saw a lot of people claim verizon price matches.  But on my way home from work, I stopped by the verizon store and the person I talked to said Verizon does not price match phone prices.  Does anyone know different?  If so, do you have a link preferably on Verizon's website stating they do price match?

Are there any apps that can start other apps when internet is detected? Like when I turn hotspot on for my radio to run pandora and Waze. Thanks in advance.

I've got an LG Fiesta (2) on TracFone with Android 7 Nougat.
I am using the stock messaging app, and want to set notifications to repeat. Currently, I get the notification only once.
I have Googled several times and found that there should be a setting in Notifications, but I cannot find any option to repeat.

Do I need to install a different (SMS) message app, or is there a (very) hidden setting.

We are developing an App that will contain some Video Content (YouTube videos).
However we do not want those videos to be viewed outside of our app. This means the users cannot access the URL of the video and even if they do, they cannot view the video outside of the app.

Has anyone done this type of work?

I've been having trouble with T-Mobile visual voicemail since I been back with them, It works at time but mostly doesn't it's nerve wrecking and am wondering has anyone have a solution? I experience it will notify me of a voicemail and it's not there I will have to call to retrieve it manually, and it want load allot of times.

I am using samsung a70 and I am not able to understand the strange behavior of gallery with respect to video.
I have switched from iphone to andriod.
For example, there are videos in the gallery and when I open the gallery and go to a certain folder having videos and click on any video, it start the preview. the video start playing with out sound which is absolutely fine and I love it but the problem come some times it shows preview and some times it does not.
I am not able to find why there is inconsistency. What are the factory involve in this in-consistency.
I don't like this inconsistency.
Can any one please explain this.
