Hello all, I am using ELB-iSCADA8m powered with Android pie. The logcat log message show 08-30 23:36:31.560 1253 1253 W /system/bin/hwservicemanager: getTransport: Cannot find entry android.hardware.graphics.mapper@2.0::IMapper/default in either framework or device manifest. I used to be able to text GIFs, now for whatever reason they always fail. I'm thinking this happened with the last update on my phone, January 3rd. Any Idea why?

Really getting into the dev stuff on Android running into issues with XML wonderering if theres any one who has had these issues:
Even if I set the constraint background to a specific colour I still get the blank screen which lead me to think I wasn't doing the fragment right but it all builds and check out It's a small Login functionality app

Could this be something to do with the dependencies but I doubt it ?

There should be a button displaying progressbar etc nothing shows .......

I've looked endlessly on Stackoverflow.

Any advice or hints tips welcome .

Hey, I love social strategy games such a Game of War, Guns of Glory, Army Men Strike. I enjoy how the games are laid out. I enjoy the social aspect of forming alliances with other players and fighting other alliances. However, I hate the pay to win aspect of these games. The stronger you get the more money you have to spend in order to stay competitive. I would like to find a game with the social and political aspects like King of Avalon, but that I can purchase one time without all of the in-app pay to win bs.

Any pointers?

Hi guys, so in Firestore I have fields written in capital letters and when I'm creating the object class that will represent the document, I don't want to have capital letter properties there... example:

Firestore:

collections Menu:

document fields: APPETIZER: "salad"

in the class Menu:

val appetizer: String? = null

this won't work because it is in capital letters in Firestore and it will only work if I do that in the class:

val APPETIZER: String? = null

How should I do this??

The email on my phone stopped syncing early yesterday morning. I deleted the account and tried to add it again as new, but I get a message saying that the authentication failed.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am using an @live.com email address if that makes a difference.

Im new to the forum. I have been searching for a solution to this issue for some time. I run a small forum for a bunch of eccentric motorhomers. Its mainly jokes and other fun stuff and often people post MP4 funny clips but more and more members are using mobile devices to view the forum and they hardly ever play. That plays fine on my windows 10 PC but what you often find on an Android phone is you get like a broken square where you would tap play and it doesnt work. Sometimes there is a message saying your browser does not support embedded videos, sometimes it will play sound but no video.

I have tried various settings, clearing chaches etc and several browsers such as Chrome, Opera, Dolphin and nothing works.

There is very little on the internet but was hoping someone might be able to help on here.

I am trying to understand how the android password authenticator works in some specific app.
There is this line of code in the app:

PasswordAuthentication auth = java.net.Authenticator.requestPasswordAuthentication(url.host(), getConnectToInetAddress(proxy, url), url.port(), url.scheme(), challenge.getRealm(), challenge.getScheme(), url.url(), RequestorType.SERVER);

I know that the requestPasswordAuthentication function Ask the authenticator that has been registered with the system for a password. It then returns the username and password and store them in "auth".

My question is where is this password stored? Where does it get the password from?

Hi guys, I got an android tv box a few days ago. I started to use the pre-installed application Red Box Tv in the android box and have been having a few problems regarding it:

1) Half of the channels don’t work when I click on them. They generally say “can’t play this link” and this is really annoying as this way the box seems to be of no use.
2) The channels which work always freeze after x seconds, generally between 30 seconds to a minute. Even when I go back and restart the channel, the same problem repeats itself. This way I can’t watch any channels using the android tv box and is the last thing people would want from an android box.

It would be really helpful if you could provide me with a solution to this.

I have a ViewPager in my Activity. I need to return the result from the fragments in the ViewPager to the activity. At the same time, the returned data will be added to the list in the activity. So I think the example of activity should not disappear. I don't know if I do it with Bundle. Would it be a good solution to move a singleton with object? What's the best practice for this, friends?

Can anyone try to explain to me what 'getResource( )' is?

I have some code running inside my game loop, all I need to do is display images on the canvas/infront of the canvas:

I've looking into a number of different methods and most use getResource(), what is it and why can it not be resolved in my code? Do I need to import a library or is it referring to another piece of my code?.

It's a picture editor. In the video that it appears, you only have to click the center button (the one with the smiley face) and that's it- you're able to move the picture that was taken however you want.

Is there a way to mirror the phone's display on a computer, when it's not possible to use the phone's screen?

I'm not sure if USB Debugging was on or off when the repair failed.

So I flashed a custom ROM G920x/5x][9.0.0] NexusOS 9.0 for Samsung Galaxy S6. It worked properly installed all my apps from the play store. Now when the battery went down to 0, I plugged it in for charge overnight(around 12:30 am) and I woke up around 10 am. Found at my phone was crazy hot, and I disconnected immediately and let it cool for about an hour. Now the phone won't turn on. I tried holding power and volume down button it didn't work. Please help. Also when I plug it for charge again, the screen doesn't show the charging battery icon or any led light, after 15mins it just starts to heat up.

I've installed and used AD Blocker Browser as a default on my phone. However, Chrome is the system's own app, and it's still opening sometimes accidentally while I am using the phone/other apps. Does someone know how can I switch off that option? Sometimes opens the screen saying "Say something" - but I wasn't going to do that, and it's annoying. Sometimes the Chrome browser is starting (even I didn't click the icon of it)...
