Got a Pixel 3a a couple weeks ago.

Everything seemed to be working fine but I realized today that people aren't receiving my group text (Message+).

I seem to be receiving group text fine, but people aren't receiving my messages when I send group (Group MMS) texts.

I compared the settings on my new phone to those on my old phone and they seem to be the same.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone have a solution or some settings I should check?

Just installed android studio on windows 8.1.
Then I connected a phone to the PC and turn on developer debug option.
No device is listed next to the app drop down. I enter troubleshoot device connection and click rescan device. It list a bunch of USB devices including the phone under the heading "found 19 usb devices not recognized as android devices".
I tried 3 different phones:
hwawei G620, oneplus one, oneplus 5T
They all result in the same scenerio -- appear in the non android devices list. All these devices have been able to transfer files to/from the PC before turning on the debug option.
What should I try next?

For some reason the camera setting for selfies has switched to a small screen and saves to a photo with black sides edges. I don't know how this happened or how to set it back to normal, where the full screen is used and picture comes out in a full screen. Instructions, please.

I'm very sad to be posting this year's first entry: former NBA Commissioner, David Stern, has died at 77, apparently as a result of a brain hemorrhage he suffered last month.

ABC showed clips the other day of Barbara Walters, over the years, introducing the show 20/20--which of course sounded like an announcement that it's, well, 2020. And here we are. And this is 2020!

How's everyone doing on this spectacularly, gloriously, postcard-perfect, sunny, warm beautiful day? If you watched the 131st Rose Parade, you know what I'm talking about. This is exactly what the founders of the parade had in mind! Sun and blue skies, with snow-capped mountains in the background.

I was happily sound asleep at its start, so I missed one of my favorite things: hearing/feeling the Stealth Bomber fly over my house. But courtesy of the LA Times, we can see it!





This year's parade has a focus on women. There were three Grand Marshals, all women, including the legendary Rita Moreno. The B2 bomber's crew was all-female: both pilots, and the mechanics who prepped it.

Replacing damaged phone. I somehow removed the color-frame of the icons on the home screen of my old Note 8. (*See pix) Does anybody know how/if I can get the same setting on my replacement Note 8???

When I am taking videos with my Note 9 the video jumps/jerks a second or 2 into the video recording. It seems to jump left and then back. Here is an example of a video I took the other day showing the behavior:


You can see in each separate scene that the video jumps at least once a few seconds into each scene. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated.

How do I search for photographs I have NOT tagged?

I'm trying to do this using the baked-in Gallery app, is there another app that will allow me to do this?

Or should I just download everything to my computer and is there a Windows program that will accomplish this for me?

I'm using galaxy s6 for more than 3 years now and have no issue while it. But from last couple of months I'm facing same issue and that is ads pop up itself regardless what I'm doing on my phone. For example watching videos on YouTube, making phone call, texting or WhatsApp etc it appears on the top of the what I'm doing. I factory reset 3 times I think but after few same issue appears. I uninstall most of the apps now I'm using what's app, keep, messenger, Ali express, Dropbox, outlook and default apps. Samsung Internet browser is default browser with ad block. These are the pictures of the ads, theses are examples every time top is different but appearance is same.

how to get computer to recognize tab 4 10.1 is hooked up to computer and to download driver or can i manually download the driver from Samsung ?

I installed Twrp because my phone was outdated but then i rebooted it it's was getting stuck on the Wiko Boot Screen and Restarting and is not booting into Recovery

As Wunderlist is ending, I am trialling any.do. I want to assign a notification sound to this app.

On my Samsung tablet, if I go to the 'notification sound' section in any.do settings, I get a choice of tones.
However, on my Sony phone, the same menu 'notification sound' section only offers me options to switch on/off each type of notification.

Why can't I see the same options on both devices?

Any ideas what app this icon might come from? Someone sent me a screenshot and I'm wondering if it's some kind of location tracking app :s
Please let me know if you know what app it might be. Thanks

P.s. The phone is a Pixel 3 or 4

Lol she dropped her phone in the toilet but her battery life was not doing so well anyway. We are trying to salvage it but still it may be time for a new phone! What do you think is it worth it or should she wait for the S11 ?

I made an app a while ago that uses a broadcast receiver to collect the battery level every time it changes using the "ACTION_BATTERY_CHANGED" intent. After updating my phone to Android 10, the receiver has stopped working. onReceive never occurs. Does anyone know what changed in the new update and how to fix it?

This is the significant portion of my code:


The receiver is registered using:
registerReceiver(batteryReceiver, batteryIntentFilter);

I have a HTC Desire 650 and after leaving the phone on the charger constantly the battery has now swollen. I bought a new battery on Aliexpress and put it in but the phone does not turn on. I put the old battery back in and the phone works. I then put the new battery in and the phone still won't turn on. Is the Aliexpress battery no good or am I doing something wrong. The old battery is 35H00257-03M, the new battery 35H00257-01M which is a bit different. Does it matter the old battery is 03M and the new battery is 01M. If you can please help that would be great.
