I received a call from a staffing agency and the caller said he was returning my call. When I told him I never called him he stated that he missed a call and used his call log feature to call me back. He asked if I was Ronda W****? I then ended the call. Does anyone know how this may have happened?
1. I did not call this person on purpuse or by accident. I checked my call log and his incoming call was the only historical entry.
2.Ronda W**** is my sister in law and I have a phone on her plan.
3.I called the staffing agency and verified that this business is legitimate and the man who called me was an employee.
4.I am using a LG Premier Pro with oreo on the metro PCS family plan.

So I have a Amazon fire stick and a unique situation. How can I stream / direct cast to my stick with the device that is also providing the hotspot. I have the galaxy A50 and I experience the following issue: I can't receive any notifications from text message apps (viber, messenger, what's app) on the status bar. If the screen is off, it will light up when someone texted me, but no notifications... If I listen to music, the song will fade a bit, as if I received a notification, but no sound from notification itself or any sign of message in the status bar. I now must open all apps one by one, in order for me to see if someone texted me.

I tried restarting the phone, turning all kinds of notification settings on and off and on, re-installing the apps, I only didn't make a factory reset.

Can you please help me.

If the cover is not removable, how would it fit? Can it have one at all, and if, how big? Where on Earth is its screen mirroring? It was hard to find on the S5, apparently impossible here.

This has been happening since I got the phone a few weeks ago. I get an email on gmail at 9:54. I wont get the notification alert until 10:05-10:10ish. This happens with a couple other apps as well. I dont have power saver turned on for these apps either.


When I wake up in the morning and I wake my phone screen up Ill get 2-3 notifications from things that were delivered during the night.

I'am serially trasmitting arduino ADC Data to android device via USB OTG. my issue is that When Iam debugging the app I found that the data is getting received very slowly on the device.

below is the code for receiving the data. The serial library reads the data in a broadcast receiver and the data is passed to a USBSerial interface callback method. I assume it is slow because I put a Breakpoint inside if loop to check the buffer after receiving 3 seconds of data, but it never comes at the Breakpoint . Debugging method is through WiFi.

I find that on some phones my VideoView says it is unable to play videos. Reading up on this issue, some people suggest changing the format to the older 3gp. However, on phones that used to play the mp4's, it only plays the audio on this 3gp format now (mine being one of them, a Samsung J5)

The strange thing is that I have these videos on a web server, and those phones that can't play the mp4 in the VideoView/app, if they navigate to the link/URL through the Chrome browser on their phone, they are able to click the link and the video plays fine.

Can someone suggest what I might try please, or what the problem might be?

I'm looking for a way to get Google Play Music to play certain songs, groups, genres, playlists, etc, from my library on Google Play Music by using voice commands through Google assistance. Especially while driving.

I've thoroughly researched for an answer and have done much experiment on my own to no avail.

Is it possible to do this? If not, is it possible to do it with a different kind of player?

The version is Release 31.3.1.0.204140.0_800849610.

However I could not log into the appstore app, it said "something went wrong." So I can't use the app either. What might this mean?

In fact, I tried several times on the phone, Huawei Honor 20 with Android 9. All failed with the error message: 'Uh oh. Something went wrong. Please try again.'
This Honor 20 phone had never installed the Amazon Appstore app as well as any other Amazon apps ever before as it's a full-new phone.

But the same APK, the same Amazon account, it works fine on my another Huawei phone, Mate 8 with Android 8.

Isn't the Amazon Appstore app working on any device with Android 9? Is there any log file on the device about the logging in failure?

A few days ago my phone lost the ability to make calls. I could receive calls and could send and receive texts but no outgoing calls would connect. A big storm was rolling through at the time so I thought maybe that had something to do with it. I could not find any solution that fixed the problem so I backed up my data (I think) and tried a factory reset. Going through the activation process the phone recognizes my SIM and phone number and then I hit NEXT and the next screen says "checking connection". This screen is never successful and always ends with the message "Couldn't connect to the internet", at which point I am sent back one screen to try again.

I am not knowledgeable about smart phones and do not know what to do to get this thing working again. Please help.

Just recently I've noticed that whenever I turn on my phone a new lock screen pops up usually with news and an ad. I then have to swipe to get to my actual lockscreen, I find this very annoying and I have tried many different things to fix it. I've deleted all of my installed app in case it was one of them but it is still there. If anybody could help that would be great. File attached.

ES file explorer has all permissions, read and write privilege on sd card.

Whenever I copy a jpg file to the sd card, or the camera saves photo on sd card, ES can't open the jpg unless I rename the jpg.

It will show the thumbnail of the jpg, but it will not open unless I rename the jpg.

For example, test.jpg will not open. But if I rename to test2.jpg and then immediately rename back to test.jpg, then it will open in ES image browser.


Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

I just reset my phone to factory settings, and it's still doing this.

ES file explorer opens jpgs on the phone internal memory just fine. It's the SD card where it acts up.

Errm I'm sorry for this question. It's just that I'm very sensitive on brand new phones I buy. I just notice that most case, even the case that comes with phones are very hard to put on the phone because of its hardnesses, and it takes lots of pressure from presses and pulling to take out or put in especially the four corners. Would it damage the phone because of these press pressures we do? It bothers me to when the center side lip of the case grips the side of the phone when pulling the phone, it's so tight by the way I'm using the new mi 9t with gorilla glass 5 on both front and back with metal frame.

Could anyone suggest a good way (or app) that can takes screenshots on Android-x86 and save image files on disk? Thanks.
