Was very happy to finally get Android 9 (Pie) on my unlocked LG G7 Thinq about a month ago. Oreo was working great, so I should have been a little more skeptical.

And now I'm really regretting it!

Anyone have any solutions to these issues? (which came with Pie):

- The "WiFI Calling" switch in settings randomly turns itself off! I'm on T-Mo, so seamless WiFi calling is critical in my area inside some buildings. This is NOT a case of the phone deciding to not switch to WiFi, rather the virtual switch in settings MOVES ITSELF TO THE OFF POSITION. I find myself surprised to see "Emergency Calling Only" when I try to make a call, then find WiFi calling is turned off.

- "Do Not Disturb" ignores schedules. For the year I've used this phone, it flawlessly went into DND at 10PM, then came out of it at 6AM, as selected by the schedule in settings. No longer after Pie. I can turn on DND manually, but IT IGNORES ANY SCHEDULE.

- Battery drain is awful. I've cleared cache, then reset the phone to no avail. Before Pie, I'd see 6-8% drain overnight (doze mode, I guess). But after Pie, with the same setup, the battery will drop 15-20% overnight. Faster discharge during the day as well.

Terribly disappointed in LG. This is their flagship from last year. It took forever to get Pie, so you'd think it would be right. And I'm afraid that these problems will never be fixed.

I have Unity project with DLL prepared for architectures: x86, x86_64, armeabi-v7a. I haven no possibility to convert DLL to architecture arm64-v8a. However if I build apk for armeabi-v7a only, it works on 64bit device. But for Google Store I need to build it with arm64-v8a compatibility - this version of application doesn't work because there is error that 64 bit DLL not found.

Is there any possibility to solve this problem? Maybe there is some possibility to modify apk file after build (i.e. it would pretend 64bit package, but works as 32 bit)?

And why is it working on 64bit device when build with ARMv7 setting in build?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, 8.0.0 Oreo.

The Google Play Store shows an "update" entitled, Samsung One UI Home." My current UI is called, "Samsung Experience Home." I understand that the update is the same UI with a different name. I've read the reviews that pertain to Galaxy S7, 8.0.0 Oreo for the new update, and they are all really bad, reporting several problems.

QUESTIONS
1. Is the update worth downloading?
2. If not, is there a way to remove it from "updates" on the Google Play Store, so that I can just hit the "update all" link, rather than having to go through and select each individual update on other apps, in order to avoid updating Samsung's new UI update?

My Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 ringtones and notifications (even in Facebook and Messenger notifications) have no sound, instead only hissing/buzzing noise is heard whenever I received a call or messages. When I watch programs in Youtube, there is only hissing/buzzing noise, there is no sound. However, I can still talk clearly when I call somebody or somebody call me (the hissing/buzzing noise is now my ringtone, hehehe). What maybe the problem? Please advice asap. Thanks.

I'm having a problem that's extremely annoying!! It started 3 weeks ago. Whenever I open Google, Chrome, open a "new" tab, or click on a link, I get a popup message at the bottom that says . . .
"! 2 downloads failed. Details."

I haven't downloaded or tried to download anything. I have no other browsers installed. I've done everything!!!

1. In both, Google and Chrome, I've cleared history, cookies, and then restarted phone - still appears.
2. Put the phone in safe mode to eliminate any third party app interference - still appears.

I havent cleared the "data" because I will lose all my bookmarks. I know this from a past experience a long time ago where I cleared data.

I've attached is a few screen shots for clarification and understanding. This is so annoying that I'm willing to PAY anyone who gives me a solution!!

I just saw the gameplay of Snapdragon 730 for heavy graphics games and it's was very smooth even on high settings, it may only run on 45-50 fps but it's hard to tell difference from "always" 60 fps of Snapdragon 855, plus the 730 is More power efficient than 855 because of weaker cpu. It seems that in day to day experience the Snapdragon 700 phones gives more satisfaction over SD 800, so why choose the flagship? It's more pricey and I heard flagships open apps faster but only less than 1 second faster. Maybe because of more advance camera feature, faster internet connection, and half second faster on opening apps?

I'm using Android today. So the Android operating system is an open-source made by Google. I need to change my operating system style. If I need to change the theme, it changes to the home screen style.

will I change the theme? what will happen?

Not all launchers are guilty of the above and I genuinely would love to start using one full-time. If you have any advice or can recommend any solid launchers and themes, please let me know.

I keep get notifications telling me that my memory is full and shows an icon for 'call management'.

Is there any Rom or any way to get Samsung Pay working on the Galaxy S4?

About once a day the phone slows down for 30 minutes to an hour. Response time can be several seconds for typed input to a minute for response to button presses.
I'm assuming it may be do to something running in the background that's sucking up CPU cycles but I don't know how to find out what's running. I've tried restarting, but that process appears to be slow too, which may indicate it's not a usage issue unless I'm wrong that a restart clears running app.
And I should mention that the phone warms up during this time.

Is there anything similar to Task Manager in Windows that's part of the OS or a downloadable app?
Is there anything else that could be causing this?

On Android 8 and up to date on security patches.

In Android 9, I had the ability to long press the little home "pellet" (not sure for the official term), and drag it to the right to scroll previous app cards into view. The farther right I dragged it, the faster the app cards would move to the right.

I just updated to Android 10, and this feature seems to be gone. Even in 2-button navigation I must swipe for each app card I want scroll through. So if I want the app that is 5 cards to the left, I need to swipe 5 times. Previously I could drag the home button the right once and hold, and watch the app cards scroll by until the one I wanted came into view.

I looked at the navigation settings - Gestures, 2-button and 3-button. None of them have the old "Hold and drag" mechanic to scroll through apps.

Is there any way to get this back in Android 10?

My phone refuses to ring. I've checked all the obvious boxes, but still nothing. It does vibrate, but no ring, volume is all the way up.

Verizon just released a new security update. It also contains some new items like video screenshots. I haven't tried the new stuff but I did the update by checking for it OTA. It went off without a hitch.

I opened android studio this morning and was notified about a 271MB update for the emulator, i installed the update and i'm receiving the following error since then when i fire the emulator:


I'm running mx-linux and my laptop has hybrid GPUs.(intel + Nvidia GTX 760M)

things i've tried so far and had no results:
1 - reinstalling the emulator.
2 - tried to run emulator via terminal with both GPUs.

I gotta mention that I have run emulator before this update on this Os and laptop without any problems.

any idea why that happens and how can i solve it?

I've changed phones a lot and I have a lot of email accounts. I do not want to redo my maildroid every time and not even sure I know how to. As a result, I have not really been on email and have not had access to my email other than gmail, which is junk, for some time. I need to retrieve some legal documents from email I can't remember how to access since my tech guy wiped out my seamonkey that I had carefully set up and backed up so I have nothing, even though I had tried to preserve data from now closed accounts. Therefore, reimporting my files from my previous maildroid is necessary.

The problem is, when I try the import function, it says the list is empty. I know that I both backed up and copied the files before wiping previous phones. Also, I have a tablet with a setup that can't be used because it is defective and has no memory available despite what us deleted. (On this new phone, while I have sd xats space, the internal memory is full. I hope it is possible to operate off of the sd card.)
I've attached copies of the directory files I have on this phone. Plus, there are the ones to be gotten from the tablet, though the tablet itself does not work. I am not sure if the working files are on the tableyts card or internal memory. In addition, I have lots of copies of these files on my laptops and backup drive, perhaps even of older setup with the old files that I was trying to save despite not having access to those accounts any more.

The question is, how do I reestablish this data into a working maildroid app without having to rein put anything. Also, how much internal data is required?

Btw, I did attach screenshots of all my maildroid files. I can email to whomever can help me.

I've been using my SD card in my new j Galaxy j7 for a few months now I've got 1300 songs and about 800 pictures. Have not had any problems at all. Phone kept wanting me to encrypt my SD card. It would show up in my notifications daily and would not go away when I would swipe. So, I finally encrypted it. And now it wants me to format the card before it will let me use it. But formatting means deleting the files. This is ridiculous. I just want to use my files on my SD card. The files are there still. It just won't let me utilize them. Can anybody please help me? Is there any way to do this on my phone?

Couldn't find a forum dedicated to 3, so hopefully someone can advise here.

I have been sent a Home Signal box from 3 as indoor signal is non-existent. I have a couple of queries:

It just flashes green constantly which according to the poor documentation here http://support.three.co.uk/SRVS/CGI...et_pid=6908,varset_cid=6910,Case=EXT(EM99485)
says it's connecting to their network. The document says this can take an hour but it's about 18 hours now. Have reset and turned it off/on this morning to no avail. It's connected to a switch that connects to the router upstairs, but it has picked up an IP address so no reason it has to be directly into the router. Any ideas why it won't bind to 3's network?

don't mention the special green SIM card that comes with the device despite showing the slot. When there's no SIM card in, it flashes red so obviously needs the card. Is the way this box works that the SIM card in the Home Signal in effect creates an internal phone network that my phone registers on, then this then connects to 3's network through the ethernet/broadband? Like a mini-mast?
