Robert Scherzer Newbie Here

Hi Every One myself Robert Scherzer f

First of all thanks to all members on android Forums. I had a few questions related my google pixel 3
on a mobile network - preferred network type I can see only three options
1: LTE
2: 3G
3: 2G
so my question is related to 4g network - why it's not showing 4network mode on my cellphone? I spend 65k for this shit. anyone can sort out my issues?

search apps

Although Android in general is pretty good, I find there is one issue where Windows is way ahead and that is searching. Lots of apps have search programs, but when you try to find something on your SD card it does not work, only accesses stuff on your actual device not the SD card, which really is pretty useless as lots of stuff is stored on the card. One example is "Search Everything" which is very good but you can only access device not SD card. So been searching some other apps, thought I finally got lucky and found ApowerManagement, which look good at first glance, but then found there is no search whatsoever.
Another one I quite liked was called Computer File Manager, which also looked promising and actually had a Windows type interface, but again no search facility whatsoever.
I mean what's the bloody point of a file management app which cannot search anything! Tried some other apps but always the same problem either no search whatsoever or no SD card search. So anyone know of any apps which actually covers these issues?

Google GMS , Firebase APIs performance

Apiggee is a good API management platform. It has metircs to measure APIs performance. It also has dashboard to measure show APIs' performance. (see the attachements)

But based on my understand, Apigee only measures Google Cloud APIs performance, not includes google local APIs like GMS or Firebase performance.

Is there any tool / dashboard like Apigee measuring GMS or Firebase performance? What are those KPIs?:thinking:

I have a question about Apk Extractor

Hello,

I Nokia 3.1 phone running Android 8.1. I recently downloaded the Apk Extractor app from the Play store, When my list of apps came up, I pressed on my ESPN app and I saw a notice that the app had been extracted to my SD card. Apk Extractor shows the saved path as; /storage/emulated/0/ExtractedApks/, and when I click on Saved Path, it shows the ESPN app. But when I try to find that path on my SD card or Internal storage, I do not see that path anywhere. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thank you

Separate app sound mutes phone

I have my s8+ connected to my car radio via an aux cord. I am using the 'separate app sound' function to send Google Maps to my headset via bluetooth. The problem is that whenever I get directions from maps via bluetooth, the music going to my car radio via the aux cord gets muted. Does anyone know how to stop the music from getting muted while using the separate app sound function?

Photo editing retaining file name in original location

I currently download my photos to my Windows 10 Pro laptop from my camera's SD card and then edit them using the installed editing software. This results in the edited image retaining the original file name and file location - start with 1 file end with 1 file.
I am looking for an android photo editing app that will allow me to edit my photos on my tablet and keep the original file name in the original file location - start with 1 file end with 1 file.
Can anyone please offer any advice as to a suitable app?

Photo transfer (not all transfer)

Today I did the Samsung smart switch from my old s8 plus to a new s8 plus. Everything went great except I'm missing 300 out of 1300 photos from my old phone.

I tried seeing if I can move them onto my PC and transfer but the only folder with pictures is the DCIM folder and that isn't showing the missing pictures. Yet they are on the old phone?

Any help is appreciated.

Help Do Not Disturb

I typically set Do Not Disturb ON when my wife takes an afternoon nap so as to not disturb her if someone calls. I did this today and when someone called the phone rang (and woke her up).

I thought Do Not Disturb would turn off the phone ringer. Is that wrong? And, if so, how do I silence incoming phone calls other than by changing the ring to silent?

What are your favorite Apps?

So, what are your favourite Apps? They don't have to be Note specific.

The top App on my list is unfortunately no longer available, but for me it is indispensable. It is called AlarmPad and allows for proper alarms, not just reminders, to be created just by putting a hashtay in a calendar entry. Thankfully it transfered over with Smartswitch and is working, but I could do with finding an alternative.

The second on my list is a calculator called MobiCalc.

I like this one because it allows for time calculations to be done very easily, which is a great help when working out my hours.

The third on my list is another calculator app called My Script, and allows you to hand write calculations, which it then works out for you. I first had a hand writing calculator on my old Nokia N 97

I have the orignal version, but it looks like only the V2 paid version is available now.

The number of destiny

The game is a transfer of the notebook version of the game 'The Number' from my childhood.
The playmaker had his notebook with a list of numbers under which the data was written in succession by categories.
In the application, the quarterback does not have an insight into what is hidden under the given number on the list, which is why he can participate in the game himself.
Collect a group of friends, have fun, and laugh together from your destinies!
