Hello, can someone tell me what app this is? 3 vertical semi circles.

Whilst playing around with my new S22 I decided to try playing an audio file using Samsung Music. I was surprised to discover that I could then only pause the play - there's no stop button. Even after I closed the app (Recents button and Close All) it was still appearing in the notifications pull-down. The only way I could find to get rid of it was to go into App Manager and do a force stop on it.

The lack of a stop button seems a strange omission. Is there any other way?

If not can anyone recommend a good 3rd-party audio player?

I have a OnePlus 9 Pro and I'm interested to know if there is a ROM I could flash that has support for a full desktop mode when connected to an external display, like Samsung Dex 192.168.100.1 .
There's no specific desktop mode that OnePlus has implemented, and the built-in Android desktop mode (with force desktop mode enabled in the developed options) is pretty bad. I've tried a couple apps that claim to enhance desktop mode but it just feels unfinished in general so nothing makes it a good experience.

Does anyone know what app this is? Found on bfs phone, he has cheated in the past. I don't need any grief, I don't snoop in his phone, I tried talking to him, I tried to look up the image myself,just need an answer, please.

Custom notification keeps getting overridden by built in notification. Tried everything to change this, but can't fix. As a last resort, would a factory reset do the trick? Please, I need some help. Thanks.

I live in my RV full time and recently moved to a park in a cell service dead zone; no towers in range. The park owners have supplied wi-fi via Starlink and I learned how to use wi-fi to connect to my Verizon service while in the park so I can send/receive phone calls and text.

The first time I set it up I discovered that I had to reboot the phone in order to get it to get it to find Verizon. It stayed connected until the first time I drove to town (32 miles away) and it switched to cell service automatically. The problem is, it did not reacquire the Verizon connection again via wi-fi when I came back home. After some fussing with it, I learned that I had to reboot the phone again.

This has been going on for 5 months. Whenever I go to town and drive through a cell coverage area, the phone switches to cell service, but does not reconnect to Verizon via wi-fi when I get back home; unless I reboot the phone. Or, if the satellites move around and the Starlink loses connectivity for a bit, then I have to reboot the phone again to get it to reacquire Verizon. It reconnects to the wi-fi signal with no problem, but does not reconnect to Verizon. This forced rebooting has become really old.

I talked to the park owners and they both have iPhones, and have never had to reboot their phones to get Verizon (they use the same carrier). I am now considering replacing the A21 with an iPhone, especially since Verizon keeps pestering me to upgrade my phone for free (so I will no doubt sign another contract). I would rather not because the A21 works perfectly fine other than this issue.

So I joined this forum, and have posted this, in the hopes that someone else has had to deal with this stubbornness and can provide some info, tricks, or fixes to resolve this issue. Or, perhaps someone has experience with another Samsung model that does not have this issue. Maybe it's inherent to the A21 only?

I purchased an unlocked Samsung 10e. The seller said it was unlocked, but in fact it was locked to AT&T. After getting the code to unlock it (it did), I was able to enroll it on Consumer Cellular with their sim. However, when I start the phone, the AT&T song plays along with their logo, then it completes startup OK. Question: is there a way to locate that "startup" app, so it just starts without it? I can kill the melody by turning off system sounds, but I'd like to remove that AT&T "app" totally

I'm using a SanDisk SD32Gb that's setup for Internal Storage and wanted to reformat to Portable. I read a Walkthrough and Unmounted the Card, then Remounted it, but it's still stuck in Internal Storage? Can it even be moved? Maybe get another Card? Any ideas ?

I went to www.apkmirror.com on my tablet. At the top of the page was a button to download APKMirror Installer, giving me the impression that installing it is a necessary first step. Then during its install I see a message ‘created by Google” and information that this is an unreleased beta program. It wants me to do three steps: create an account, verify (the account, I presume), browse for content.

Is this in fact part of the Google play store?
Do I need it to get something/anything from apkmirror?
Can I get rid of it and then go straight to downloading and installing the audio player, or other programs I might want, from what I find listed at the apkmirror site?

Been using Yaata for years, no problem.
On new phone, I can ATTACH a picture to a text (from my Gallery), but I cannot TAKE a picture inside Yaata.
What happens is:

• I open a new text
• Hit the little camera icon
• Take the picture
• It inserts a BLANK frame in the text

If *I* click on it before sending, it opens a blank frame. When the recipient gets it, there's nothing there. All permissions are granted to Yaata.
What am I not looking at?

What do backup apps do for an android? My search of the web says that they only back up data. Is there one app that will not only back up my data but also all of the apps installed on the phone? So that when I move to a new device it will basically mirror what was on my old phone on to my new phone? I would pay money to have such an app - but free is always good

Hello everyone, I'm looking for your assistance please with an issue that bugs me to death. I have used the search facility, but was unable find the answer I'm looking for.

My question is this: Is it possible to change the file numbering option when saving photos on my phone? My phone saves photo files with a 14 digit number for example, 20221210_123456. I would like to change how photos are saved to a similar system used in my Canon camera, IMG_1234.

I don't know if what I'm asking is even a possibility, but I'm sure someone will know one way or another.

Hello everyone, I want to create an unusual automation on the smartphone. "Tasker for Android" is said to be very suitable for this. Goal: The smartphone should automatically record my route when I enter a certain area. And when I leave the area again stop the recording. These routes should then be permanently visible on a map. I used Aurora store for a while and I installed a lot of apps. Now I reactivated the play store and I can't see all the apps that I have. I can do a sort of "scan" of installed app? Or I can solve this problem in someway? Or my apps are stuck in aurora store? Thank you

I've wondered why my SMART LOCK feature in my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 which keeps the phone unlocked in trusted locations or connected to trusted devices no longer works, having the need to continually unlock the phone at home etc.
Discovered the Locations and Device settings are gone on SMART LOCK page so there's no means of setting it.
All software updates are current.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I can't get my phone to "wake up" when a text msg or email arrives. I'm using Google msgs and Gmail, but maybe i need to switch back to the stock samsung apps. I've looked at 5 or 6 videos on this subject, and now i'm totally confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Over the past five years or so I’ve downloaded a few programs from the Google Play Store to an Android table. None of those programs cost anything. This evening I wanted to purchase an audiobook player for $1.99.

I entered the information for a Visa prepaid debit card, the type frequently used as a general purpose gift card. Unlike a bank debit card, it has no name on the front, anyone can use it at most stores. In the past I’ve made a few online purchases with such cards using a Windows computer.

Seconds after as I finished entering the card information I got a notice, supposedly from Google, saying my Google account is suspended until I provide a government issued ID and either a bank statement or a utility bill. Nothing like such information has ever previously been required. The only requirements I remember from signing up for a Google account was an e-mail address and password, maybe my name plus birth date. I think the gmail account already existed when I first needed something from the Google Play Store.

It seems rather like a phishing scam but does anyone know about such nonsense with Google?

Need some help here.
I've a company phone that they've recently remotely installed an app that can be remotely activated any time and listen in on me.
I'm not here to discuss the legality of it etc I just need to know how to remove it.
Because all it says is "you do not have permission, contact your administrator " or similar.

I don't want to eff the device up but surely one of you savy bunch will have a way.

The issue:
Phone is stuck in reboot
Can't enter twrp recovery

This issue occured when I did the following:
I unlocked the bootloader then I flashed twrp. Then when I tried to enter twrp via the bootloader>recovery.
It gets stuck on "entering recovery..." then the phone reboots in a loop.

So i can't enter twrp and I can't enter the phone.
I can still enter bootloader tho.
I first tried the lastest twrp version when that didn't work, I tried a few others with no success.

Crazy story... Few days ago I was on a roller coaster. Noticed on way up to top that my phone was pinned between my leg and the padded safety restraint. After ride, I checked my phone and it was somehow in Odin/download mode. It remained locked up for a couple of hours, then it restarted and everything seemed fine. Phoned paired to my Ford Sync and the next call I received had an issue. I could hear the other person fine, but they could not hear me. Tried trouble shooting over the next few days. Unpaired and then re-paired, restarted phone, went through all settings on phone and vehicle, etc. My vehicle responds to voice commands and I am able to use talk to text. I tried my phone with another BT device and had the same issue, so I know the problem is with my phone and not my vehicle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
