The other day I was going to bed and plugged in my phone... A few seconds later my phone beeped to inform me my wifi had stopped... I checked the WiFi router and it showed everything was a-ok... No one I the house had wifi so I reset the wifi, phone in hand and returnedto bed... Plugged my phone back in and seconds later the wifi was out again so I went to my routers address and reset it from my phone... It restarted connected to the internet and was immediately off-line again... I unplugged my phone and went to investigate, by the time I got to the location of my wifi it was running as smoothly as ever... Walked back to my room and again plugged in my phone when my better half informed me seconds later the wifi was out again... I unplugged my phone and waited.. She let me know the wifi was up and running again... I plugged my phone in again and asked what about now and she said nope it's down again... I had to turn off my phone to charge and to have Wi-Fi at the same time... Any ideas?

Can anyone recommend an Android email app that has an 'Empty Trash' function? I am using my cell to retrieve my emails from a POP 3 account and deleting them individually from my Trash folder is a real pain. Thanks in advance.

I went to Language and Input on my S9 and added Hebrew to my list of languages. In my setting it shows that Hebrew is listed, but for some reason that keyboard does not appear when I slide the spacebar on my keyboard. I even restarted my phone, and nothing changed. Does anyone have a solution to his problem? Thanks!

I would like to buy Double din Head Unit with Android Auto support for my 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. The head unit should be able to display a few apps like 'Podcast Addict', 'Pandora', YouTube , my music player etc. and gps maps. I am kind of confused about when a particular app will appear on a head unit with Android Auto support. Like there are some apps like 'Podcast addict' that I would like to use regularly on my head unit. I was wondering will all apps on my phone appear on the head unit or only some with special support for Android Auto. There are also headunits without Android auto support like this one and I was wondering what are the implications of buying one of these since while it has everything I need will other apps not appear because it doesn't have android auto support?

My Lava Pixel V1 is only getting charged while I connect it to a Computer's USB port with the cable that came with my phone.

But, its not getting charged while I plug the charger (same cable that came with my phone) into a wall outlet.

- Why the phone is not getting charged from wall outlet?

Android Version: Android 6.0 Marshmallow

N.B: The charger is fine as I tested it with other phone also the wall outlets doesn't have any problem.

So, I've read all over the internet and I just can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for anywhere so I came here. My JBL Free Wireless earbuds when I first got them were pretty loud on my Note 8 and for some reason then went quiet after about a month of use. Granted, they are still pretty loud but not as load as they used to be. I tried them on my girlfriends phone and they are considerably louder than my phone. She's using a Galaxy j7, they are as loud on her phone as they used to be on mine before they went quiet on my phone.

I implemented an app 1 year ago i used node.js and firebase message , but it now says Node.js 6 depreceted , i spent more than 2 hours trying to update Node.js to 8 but my system finds that 6 is the last vesrion !! .. any help?

This may be a particularly odd request... But I am needing an app to record local live FM broadcast to MP3 files.

I often times attend different public events that are broadcast over the FM band - not streaming on the Internet. And, I would like to record these programs in MP3 format for personal use. Yes, those in attendance are permitted to do so, provided they are for personal use and are not made available for the general public).

I do have the voice recorder app on my Motorola e5 Supra, and it does a fair job of recording the programs; but I am finding the white noise of others talking, rustling around, etc, can be a bit distracting. So, for a cleaner recording, I am hunting an app that will allow me to listen to the local FM broadcast (as the NextRadio) app does, but to be able to record these broadcasts in MP3 format...

I understand that I may have to insert a set of wired earbuds, which I have no problem doing, as I would also like to be able to hear the program / speakers without the sounds of people talking around me, children crying, etc.

So if anyone does have any suggestions as to how this could be done, I am all ears/eyes. Thank you so much for your help!

Hello all, has anyone else noticed if their Pixel 3a is warping? When laid screen side down it is not flat and rocking back and forth from corner to corner. You can hold it up and tell it is twisted and not right. I have never before had a phone do this. I returned the first one for the same issue. Thanks

My phone is samsung a8 with OS pie

I have a 256Gb SD card installed on a Cubot X19 phone. The SD Card is formatted as exFAT, NOT internal storage. I've copied a large quantity of MP3 files into directories within /music/ on this card. With Android v8.1 whenever I copied a new directory, the media scanner would kick in immediately, read the MP3 tags, and the files would appear in the system media library. They were then available to be played in media players such as Google Play Music.

Since upgrading to V9.0 Pie, the media scanner doesn't kick in for these files. If I manually fire up a media scanner app such as https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.house.noranuko.mediarescanner the tracks then appear ok.

If I copy the files into the internal storage /music/ folder they are immediately visible.

So it looks as though the media scanner only automatically scans incoming files copied over the USB port if they are placed in internal storage and not on the SD Card.

Has anyone else seen this? And is there any way of persuading the media scanner/storage app to automatically scan incoming files on the SD Card the way it used to with v8.1?

After you have flashed the Factory Binary, simply boot to recovery, factory reset then boot back into the factory Binary. After that place in Download Mode, and reflash with your version of choice. CHEERS.

I found one suggestion to long hold on the text, and three vertical dots will appear in the top right corner, then select "Blacklist". I get the three dots, but no blacklist choice. Any suggestions?
