Had an interesting conversation with CSR. Will skip right to the good part.
Me: People's phones are shipping later than their shipping date. Which means mine will also be late because when they are pushed back I am pushed back. Which means I will have to pay interest on 2 months for a product I dont have. (My CC statement was taken the day after I orded which is when they took payment so it is on there for this month and will be on there next month because my shipping date is the same as my statement date, was trying to get a small credit to my accout for my trouble.)
CSR: I am sorry, that sucks. But there is nothing we can do about the interst on your credit card. And I see your phone will ship out on 7/15, which was your origional quoted shipping date.
Me: I am not expecting you to deal with my credit card. When I ordered the site said that it would ship on 6/8. Which is why I ordered it from there, it is supposed to be a birthday present on the 10th. Then I am told it was pushed back to the 12th and now the 15th? And how can it ship on time when you are running behind on backorders?
CSR: I dont know where you got those other numbers, because the schedule says it will ship out on 7/15.
Me: I have emails quoting me those other numbers. I am sorry, I must not be understanding. If someone's shipping date is on say, 7/14 and is running 2 days behind I will still get mine shipped out on 7/15. Before the person who was supposed to get it shipped before me?
CSR: That is correct. If you fax me the emails with the other dates quoted to you I could take a look at them for you. Unfortunately, your shipping date will probably stay the same regardless.
Me: Obviously there would be no point in faxing the emails if it will not change the outcome. It also seems highly unfair. I mean I am upset about the month wait I have but if I seen someone who ordered on 6/28 get their phone before me who ordered on 6/16 I would be highly upset.
CSR: People dont know when others have ordered as apposed to when they get it.
Me: What about the forums on your website, everyone is stating their order date, estimated shipping and when it actually ships. That is how we know that the backorders are being backordered.
CSR: Those people shouldnt be complaining, we have giving a shipping date and thats when it will ship. Complaning is not going to make it ship faster. And who knows those types of people could be lying about when they ordered and when they got it. Just to stir up trouble for us. We get hundreds of calls about the Incredible a day asking when their phone will ship. We have given shipping dates, that is when the phones will ship.

Obviously customer satifaction means nothing to this lady.
