Now that would be perfect, I mean if you are going to tweet clue's about this phone then freaking release some clues.

Does anyone think they are going to keep doing this until launch and then they will say something like X has landing at a Verizon near you, or something like that?
 
I have called all verizon stores within 30 miles and tried a couple best buys. One of the best buys said they haven't got the info on the free droids yet. But everywhere eles I called said its probably fake or they hadn't heard anything about it. One guy said all Verizon Stores are closing at 4 on Sun. to get up to date on all this and they would know more Monday morning.

That was out a couple of days ago, but updated to say "some select" stores were closing early. I guess you could call your local one to find out their Sunday hours.
 
This is taking too long for them to post clues...I am losing interest very quickly. That @FindDroidX twitter page thinks the first clue will come on the second after that one frame in the promo video with the eye showed the date 07.2.2010 ... I kinda think it was just a blur from all the flickering, but that's one theory they proposed. And if that is the case...I will be ticked. My phone battery is dying so quickly refreshing Twitter all the time.

It is dragging on, isn't it!??! Anyway, if they think that the clue is in that commercial, then why hasn't anyone dissected it and posted it anywhere? Or do they mean it won't appear until the next commercial on July 2nd? Either way, bogus all the way around.

Have the tweets sent to you via SMS. Just go to the list of people that you are following. There will be a little phone icon in the DroidLanding block if you have your phone registered (click the mobile tab if you don't have it registered and follow the directions there). Just click on the phone icon and you're set!

One small problem with this, though. And I know because I set this up too. Twitter sometimes doesn't send the message right away. I've gotten some tweets within a few minutes, within 45 minutes, and sometimes never. If you go to the status page when you get the whale, it tells you they are doing maintenance and SMS feeds will be delayed. it's a PITA!

I've had the same problem. I haven't received today's tweet via SMS.
 
should be roughly 30 minutes until the next tweet from them. Seems as though there are 3 a day the past few days, coming at roughly 10, 2, and 6 (EST).
 
after that last tweet, I am confident one is in Arizona. warm climate and about the most desert-y part of the nation...and it is freaking hot here!! phoenix is also one of the largest cities in the nation, so it makes sense

Could be Vegas. Lots of desert, actually. Arizona, NM, Cali, Nevada...
 
Droid X designate #5 has been reported south of Nebraska. Way south. Start your engines.

Texas...gotta be somewhere in Texas
 
I want to see someone on these forums get it, just so I know it's real. So far, nothing near me either, but it would be great if it wasn't found by someone not on here. Maybe we could catch some clues based on where #5 is found.
 
This has become really stupid. I'd love to hear just one person actually come forward and claim they found one of these escaped Droid X's. It's just viral marketing and i really don't think anybody who's real will find one. There I said it.
