"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

Yup, they're just gonna stretch this out. If the phones were already 'dropped' there'd be specific clues. In today's "notice every unattended package" society...they'd be spotted the day they were dropped. And, if it was as simple as a code off of a poster, it would only take a day or two to notice.

Unless it was terribly obscure...you'd have to ask a person...or dig in bushes.

In that case, they'd have to give much, much better clues than these.
 
Droid X3 possible location from clues and google map; Start at the Shoreline (ampitheatre) and work your way inward. Near the West Coast (W. Coast Ave.) At higher altitude (anything above ground level including shelves, roofs, etc.)

The most powerful Cybernetic machine [in the area] since Arnold took office on November 17th, 2003 is ???

I don't know, but there is a Computer Museum east of the Google Campus worth checking out for additional clues...

I have a feeling that these so-called hidden "droid X's" are not really the actual phones, as many people have already pointed out. I speculate that the DroidLanding twitter clues are referring to locations of pre-release events. Maybe there will be droid X phone giveaways at these events or something. I'm just guessing here, though. Obviously no sources or anything.

That's what I was thinking. I think it is a chance to see the phone, and pre-order.

The Twitter account's Bio says that the phones are hidden and seems to imply that they will be given out before the official release.

Someone back me up here but wasn't there an interview with someone at motorola where they said some people will have their droid x and be able too look up and see fireworks. Leads me to think that the hints so far are very vague right now just to get people on the right track and hype it a bit. Wouldn't Independence Day (july 4th) be a fitting day for it to all really begin. Didn't the droid x's escape and wouldn't that be considered a form of "independence" or freedom?

Previous post about designate #4 was that it is on the east coast. "hdmi state of mind", or the Billy Joel song "New York State of Mind". Droid X designate #4 must be in NYC!

Anyone out there from NYC? Start looking on street corners and in dumpsters....Let us know if you find anything.
 
Previous post about droid #4 on the east coast indicated "droid hunters get ready". There is a hunter college in NYC....Anyone near Hunter College or the Hunter College subway stop?
