Well midday has come and gone and as of yet no shipping notifications for today. I am hoping to see some 6/5 orders go out today, it will give me some small hope of seeing my phone by friday.

the 8 hour recommended charge was the hardest part (although i was at work for that), by the time i got it activated(which took 2 hours cause was using it for different line than the upgrade was for) it was almost 3 am. Of course i didn't force myself to go to bed till 5, lol.
after that sync with Appbrain (great time waster, can get all your apps ready on there, read reviews, etc) once you get appbrain on the market it will sync the list you made on the computer. When i sync'ed i had about 110 apps so it still took awhile, but it was way better than killing your first charge scouring the market!!

CRAZY.....at least yours is moving...mine has not moved at all....
did you find your tracking # yet? at least we got through the first hurdle which is getting it out of verizon/htcs warehouse

lol...no problem...the charging will not be a problem I will have so much stuff to do when I get it home that evening leaving it alone will be hard but I can manage.....mine will already be activated so I may have a problem at work the next day....lolol...I will not be able to put it down. I still have not decided on all the apps I want yet...lol...I guess I need to get busy!

Yes got it by email and it shipped on the 27th which was Sunday...but my 2 day shipping is apparently actually 3 day....not getting here till Wednesday!

Called CS...she was very honest. "I dont know anything. Keep hearing delays and stuff but I can assure you that we are shipping them as fast as we can. I am sorry but the best I can do for you is mid July. I know a lot of other CSRs are giving a specific date but, since there is no gaurantee I dont like to give out dates just a time frame. I'm sorry I couldnt be more help, the higher ups dont let us know what is going on. All we get is a memo with an estimated shipping schedule and it keeps changing."

simply was it really worth the wait? is the battery as bad as some say? will did you upgrade the battery to atleast the 1750
i am a 6/5er and something funny just happened i just called csr and talked to a lady that really didnt know what was going on literally, she said to me your phone shipped on 6/25 so since u have Fedex 2 day u should get it tuesday before 3pm. so i said well i called saturday 6/26 and was told that i didnt ship because of delays, then she said "oh thats right well let me look into that for u" i was so mad that i laughed and told her thank u, but dont worry about it. Just wish CSRs were better informed about the DINC . Still hoping for shipping today. Let me know if u guys hear anything about 6/5ers shipping. Thanks . But i will call 611 in a couple of hours.

I was thinking that maybe now that Verizon is letting peoples switch to the X that will free up some phones and we can get ours a little sooner than anticipated. I'm a 6/16er and can only dream of the day I will get mine. My Inc case I bought is starting to collect dust!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

I just spoke to VZW about this. I'm a 6/9er with a promised ship date of 6/29. Based my telling the CSR my order date (which she didn't bother to check) I was informed it would ship 'today or tomorrow' which I am hesitant to believe.
I asked what I need to do to switch my order to the Droid X, and was informed that I could cancel my order today and call back when the X preorder (if there even is one) begins, or return my Incredible within 30 days, pay a $45 restock fee, and then place an order for the X.
So I'm not sure if she knew what she was talking about. Anyone else have a similar experience?
I'm totally on the fence now between the X and Incredible; leaning more toward the X at this point. I've waited this long. What's another two weeks to me?

at this point its a screen debate and a htc or motorola debate, all about personal preference, i love my inc, wouldn't trade it for anything, especially a moto. But thats just me
