I can really tell a difference when I went to manage applications. Used to take a good 10-20 seconds to load, took about 3 seconds.
I'm rooted and the update was available to me so I don't think this is true.
Just curious did you guys that got your phones bricked, did you wait for the notice to update appear on your phone or did you manually down load it??

**** i did the same, i updated then went into htc update and installed it again, shouldn't it know i have the latest, my phone is BRICKED NOW wtf, wont power on or nothing, ****ing sprint
Have you tried rebooting the phone? (I got that error once after messing with my settings... rebooting resolved it.)After updating to the new software I'm getting a "error code 67 .registration failure. your PCS vision username and/or password may be incorrect" message on the phone. It's interupting a lot of things, whenever I open apps (it seems random ) it closes them. I've tried updating prl etc multiple times, and every time it says it has updated changes or whatever but it still happens after. Any idea?
The issue is alread in phone tech supports system, so they're just recommending customers go into the store to the phone re-booted (dunno how they do it if there's no power response).
I already made my appointment.
Did my update, thankfully it went flawlessly over Wifi. Anyone else using Jorte having trouble with the widgets showing up?
Manually went in to check for it. First time, it cycled and said everything was up to date and installed. Went into check for updates again, just to be sure that everything installed fine and it said that the update was available still, but my battery was too low.
Went to charge to 50% and then went to re-install update. Let the phone do its thing, it cycled about 2 times...but then after it went black, it stayed there for about 20 minutes without any response. Went to press the power button...nothing. Then took the battery out, put back in after a minute...nothing.
Phone tech support already said it was a known issue, so I guess they said the corporate service store can go in and re-boot the phone (don't know how exactly, but supposedly can do it). If not, I just replaced this phone at Best Buy last week, so I'm stil within my new 30 day return policy.
Oh well, just irritated that this will take up my time, but no biggie as long as it either gets fixed or they replaced my phone.
So far had to remove and readd all my widgets... cuz the say "error loading gadget" Thats a pain in the butt. I had so many, I cant remember what the heck some of them were. :-(
THE UPDATE DISABLES ALL WIDGETS. (from what ive read this entire thread)
just reupload them.
