Hey everyone. I've been lurking around this thread for about a week and a half now just trying to gather as much information to figure out when I should receive my Dinc. Well I received my email notification earlier today that it was shipped. My history is as follows.
Order Date: 6/5
Est. Ship Date: 6/25
Actual Ship Date: 6/30
Est. Delivery day: 7/1
It would appear that it is overnighted. And I also am a new customer switch from AT&T.
I'll keep you posted if/when I receive it. I hope everyone gets theirs ASAP.
P.S. Thanks for keeping me entertained with all the stories and antics.

Ordered online 6/6. Ship date was 6/27. I did recieve the Verizon $25 email. What I find odd is some peoples 6/7 orders have shipped already. I wonder if location helps? I'm in CA.
I am not considering the Droid X as the screen is just too big.

Just received this VZW message on my cell phone:
"Due to overwhelming demand, your Droid Incredible by HTC order is currently delayed by up to 8 business days. We apologize for any inconvenience and within the next 2 weeks, will send one 25 dollar gift card to your account to thank you for your patience."
My order date at a VZW store was 6/7 and my original estimated ship date was 6/25. Looks like I am in to next week for possibly receiving the phone. Hope this info helps those who are waiting.

you should definitely call them
mine shipped from cali to indianapolis, and then back to memphis before heading to nyc, since you're in TN already, you might get it soon

What is the latest in the day we have seen these shipping confirmations go out. basically at what point in the day can people with 2 day shipping like me give up hope on getting theirs before the weekend?
nope, actually heard there will be a 3-7 day delay. at this point ive learned not to hold my breath.

Just got mine...Moto Droid. Done with the incredible. They credited my account with $55 for the hassel so I got the droid for a song and I am going to cance the incredible unless the droid has terrible reception at my cabin. I will post if my dinc ships before I have a chance to put the droid through its paces. Good luck to you all. I am done with HTC.

I ordered in the store and was given overnight shipping by the rep I ordered it with and apparently I still have overnight (which seems surprising from what I've read on this thread)

I ordered Incredible online on 6/5, promised shipping date 6/28.
Received "important message" from VZW last night apologizing for the delay for up to 7 business days, promised $25 courtesy gift card. After that email I thought for sure I'd not see any shipping notices for another week.
To my surprise got my shipping info this morning!

so.. I just called *611 for shits and giggles.
Yesterday I was told phone was shipping today, but not given an #. Now its going to be 7 business days. I know they probably have no clue... but I was at least hopeful

a little pre warning for everybody: the battery life is pretty bad but only because you can do almost anything on this phone, so its a trade off
definitely bring a charger with you if you carry a bag, or an extra battery until they release an official extended battery

When I received my first one the battery was pretty weak, so for my second HTC Incredible I decided to buy an extended battery.

I heard the battery life was a nightmare so I ordered an extended battery. But as you said, it's something that does almost everything so that's definitely a trade off that's worth it to me!
