"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

After stopping in to two Verizon stores today, I was told I was the second person to ask them about it. Damn you, who else is looking in central Florida? lol Needless to say, I admire the one employee who still tried their best to sell me an Incredible. lol

This contest would be so much easier if I knew where they all were.

Prob me :D Miami area is mine <(-.~)> I drove all the way south and back north yesterday stopping at every VZ store I could find.

10? I count 14 if you beleive they'll be found early!:p

Yeah, the "...but you might get yours before that..." part of the Twitter account bio sure leads one to believe that these things are supposed to be found before the release. I guess 1 day early is still considered early, though...

One day before release would be uber lame. I think this "event" will happen within the next 7 days. After that, it's so close to launch who cares.

Well, I'm definitely hoping the earlier, the better. But I have to say, interest is defintiely waning for this so-called "contest".

I was looking at starting a poll to see who's in what state so people can get a read of the competition, but I can't figure out how to do it. Anyone else wanna give it a shot?

Boy, I sure hope everyone is this forthcoming with their ideas when they announce the next Cali clue! Just hope no one else from SF is watching/reading these forums!;)

Okay...before the rain just started coming down a few minutes ago...there is nothing in Orlando, FL and the VZ stores I've been in know nothing. I looked for posters, billboards, around the demo displays in VZ stores, I looked in parking garages, under I-4 parking, around the new arena, and around church street station. I made it down Wall St. before the rain hit.

Orlando's a large area though, and I certainly didn't even cover half of it.

I'm about 40 minutes, but with all traffic.. forget about. Above address for Enhanced Vision

damn, i'm so tempted. traffic up the 405 is a ***** though after work. i highly doubt there are moto/verizon employees at every hidden droid. i wonder if i should cruise over later this evening. if someone else goes before me, good luck. if not i'll check it out and report back!

If you google "northwest air" you get DELTA so maybe a delta ticket counter or something delta..... who freaking knows, this $hit is driving me crazy!!!!!

Hey Stan, I think you may be on to something with all your equipment. Just don't know about the locations we've guessed. Interesting stuff.

Technology really never ceases to amaze us, a new Enhanced Vision Technology currently being developed by General Motors aims to turn the ordinary car windshield into augmented reality based virtual display that uses lasers, night vision, eye tracking and GPS to assist you in driving. Enhanced vision technology can pin point obstacles in the path, mark the road using lasers during night and can even display your destination using the GPS technology on your windshield in real time.

Can you rent a helicopter and fly over all the locations with your equipment? LOL!
