Okay guys, it's FINALLY HERE!!
Didn't think I was going to get it in time today but BF was home in time to sign for it! I've been playing with it for about an hour and it really is true... robbyslady said it, babyblues said it, and now I'M saying it... while it's a pain in the a$$ to wait for so long, this phone is TOTALLY worth it!! I'm blown away by how much it can do! So far it is really living up to its name!! I will keep you posted and hope that you all get to enjoy your phones soon as well! Looks like orders are moving fast and steady now, so I'm gonna go hibernate for a couple of hours and check back in a little while! My phone and I need a little privacy! LOL

I've never considered the ESPN updates to be annoying until the last couple of days. Every time my BB dings for a new email I tear my pocket off my pants getting it out.

There is no better way to use your first posting in this forum than to tell us your phone is on it's way. Thanks for sharing and we be happy for yas.
Me too, but I just spoke w/FedEx. If the package arrives at the FedEx facility on Saturday and it's not stuck in a container (which they wouldn't break apart) then I can arrange to pick it up myself.
The FedEx CSR said once the tracking showed it had arrived at the facility, I could call and they'd let me know if a pick-up would be possible. No guarantee, but some of us might get our phones with 3 days' less delay!

I may have received an email notification today, not sure cuz I'm at work. Got antsy and decided to call. CSR told me I'm one of the lucky ones and my phone shipped today, will have it by 3:00cst tomorrow. Not sure how true this is, but goes to show the size of the fustercluck that is the DInc backlog, she told me that since these phones were released, I'm the first call she's taken where her system gave her any shipping information results, and otherwise she's just had to make "empty promises" to people.

oh, also, why i came back is because they just sent me a text stating that my phone was delayed eight days, after sending the shipping notice

I just received a text from verizon telling me my order will be delayed up to 8 business days. But not to fear! Because I'm such a loyal customer, here is a $25 gift card! I just got my tracking # yesterday and I've been following it on Fed EX. It's now in Oakland and still on time for a 7/2 delivery by 7pm. I had already got my email about the delay and the $25 on 6/29. I think it's Verizon trying to push me over the edge one last time! Anyone else get a text after the email?

6/8 here too and I also just called CS. Was given the basic 7 day story, so my ship date will be by 7/8. Damn Sh&% F&@^ Aaaaahhhh!

Holy cow - just got a text from VZW saying my shipment has been delayed up to 8 biz days and to look out for $25 gift. I already got the bloody email. These guys are driving me nuts. I need a haiku, NOW.

I've been due for an upgrade since January, so already waited 6+ months to get to this point. It has not been easy. My Samsung Alias is good for nothing. Luckily I have a Blackberry Bold thru work so I can half-assly get my nerd buzz on.
Also I have a baby coming any day now so I'm counting on that to distract me until this other baby arrives
