I just picked up the Droid for the Verizon network, so I'm new to Android. So far, all I can say about this phone is: It Rocks!

I came here to learn more about the Android OS and all the secrets behind it. This seemed like the right place to join since all of my Google searches landed me here.

While I don't have the iPhone, I do have the iPod Touch (I personally hate it when people call it the iTouch). Comparing the two, Apple's interface just makes it feel like a toy.

I'd also like to say that the Droid is leaps and bounds better than my previous phone: LG Dare. While it's not a fair comparison, I did use it for similar tasks. Now I can't see myself without a smartphone.

Well, that's my intro. I'm glad to be here, and I hope very well that this forum is much better than the Dare forum.
