Backing up pictures/videos

Hi,

i'm new to the forum and am after some advice. I have already backed up my contacts and sms to my gmail account.

I don't know where pictures/videos on my phone are saved- are these saved to the phone or sd card? What is the best way of backing pics/videos?

I received a message to update but selected 'later', after i have backed up where can i find this update?

Pictures and videos get saved to your sd card. Just mount the phone on the pc and copy them across to back them up

I can't find my video,after mounting to pc,i can see & copy my pictures,but not my video,,they should be in the same folder!
even with a file manager of my phone,i can't locate my video,i can watch them but i can't find them!!
