Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

ETA: 7/15
Emails: Zip, zilch, nada. No delay emails, no $25 pacifier, nothing.

Ditto...ditto....ditto....aaaaand dito...now, the debate rages in my head...if it comes early, do I tell people here for fear of being mauled by attack dogs? :confused:
 
I read the entire user manual last night. Now I want the phone even more. What to do next??? This is the first time I ever wanted a holiday weekend to go by _-fast
 
Interesting two of the local Best Buy Stores here in Iowa have the Incredible in stock.

But, I got one year pricing from Verizon due to horrible experience with ERIS, so I am unable to cancel Verizon order and pick up at BB as they do not recognize Verizon one year pricing.
 
My wife ordered an Incredible on July 9th (from Verizon store in Chicago area)
Estimated Ship Date was June 30th

Shipping E-mail came on July 2, 4:50 PM

Standard Overnight Delivery, which means delivery on July 6th with holiday and all... (tracking shows it is sitting in the nearby FedEx sorting facility)

LOL! Sounds like me when I was waiting. Have you gone to appbrain and selected apps you would like to try out?
 
Argggh this is painful. My phone has arrived at the sorting facility in my town and has been sitting there since 3:44 am :mad: It's less than a 10 minute drive there too! :( I just talked to a rep at 1800fedex and they told me they probably wouldn't sort them out until later tonight.
 
Been lurking since I purchased DINC in store on 6/16 and the wait has been terrible. I didn't realize the magnitude of the back order situation until I happened upon this forum. It's been entertaining and informative. I figure it will be forever before I see my DINC since I'm in Nebraska!

Hey nmayer or anyone that's received their Dinc I have a question. I've found nobody that can answer this so far. I'm coming from a storm1 to the Dinc. I use my storm a lot to play tunes via bluetooth... all I can cram on a 16g sd card. I work in a very noise pollluted environment and being half deaf I have to turn the volume up on the storm and the bluetooth stereo recivers all the way to hear the tunes over the ambient noise I'm surrrounded by. My question can only be answered by someone coming from a storm1 to a Dinc.... How do the two phones compare in audio bluetooth output volume? It will be a shame if I have to use my storm as a mp3 player lol.

Misery loves company lol.. Welcome to the pit. The good loonies in here have sure helped me deal with the wait. My family just waves with one finger when I mention the Dinc. At least in here, everyone is in the same boat and understands.
 
So its saturday on the fourth of july weekend, and my droid is sitting in a fedex sorting depot about an hour away. Anyone think i should see if i can get it? Anyone know how i could get it? else i have to wait till the 6th to get it.
 
Gyahhhh! I didn't have time to post anything yesterday, but my sweet, sweet Incredible came early!! I wasn't supposed to receive it until Tuesday the 6th, but the amazing not-at-all-fat-and-lazy fed-ex man delivered it yesterday!! Soooo here are my stats

Ordered 6/10 in store
"promised" ship date of 6/28
actual ship date 7/1
Estimated delivery date 7/6
Received 7/2
