Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

I asked the guy at Verizon when I ordered and he told me they were selling 9000+ a day and they can only produce 2000 per day. I would love to see the numbers too.
Just got back from Fed-X shipping back my Dinc, should have my Droid X on the 16th
I hope nobody else has the signal issue that I had with mine

just a heads up, I waited the wait with you all........ It is so worth it! This phone is amazing! I love that navigation uses google maps and that it incorporates traffic and accident into drive time. Living in LA it's a huge help. That's one tiny thing that is awesome about this phone! So keep up the good wait, it won't be long..... Well worth it And forgotten when you are playing with your new toy! Peace to all

If that were true the wait times would continuously get longer.

Man I still say that stinks big time. But.. I keep hearing good things about the X. All the loonies in here waiting will have that 30 day window to give the X a look. I know I plan to give it a once over when it's in the store.
I'm not planning on trading in my Dinc.. but.. I haven't seen the X yet.

I'm back and I have a belly ache and it's all HTC's fault. If I had my Dinc today I'd be playing with it instead of killing myself with home made salsa.

I'm sure that home made salsa is pretty yummy though - i love chips and salsa and have been wanting to make my own for a while now but just haven't gotten around to it.
So after calling FedEx and them telling me there would be no way I could go and pick it up I decided to stop by the facility since I was going to be passing it anyways when I had to go out. The lady I talked to at first was being quite hopeful and sympathetic about having to wait until Tuesday when it was there somewhere in the building. Another lady came up and said 'no.' 
It was in a 'can' and she wasn't going to go digging through it for one package and that she didn't have the man power to do it. pfft I should have filled out an application and worked for a day just to find my phone!
She also asked who was it that was sending, the first lady: "verizon" the second lady: "no, can't do it with them, sorry"
So I left the facility with my dreams crushed, even though I didn't get my hopes up too high before going in there. I went about doing my errands and came back to my house and there was a package there from fedex (big box so obviously not my phone - something else) and there was a sticker posted to the door saying delivery attempt but with no information on it.
I ran inside, refreshed the tracking page that hasn't been closed since I received my number, and it still said "At dest sort facility LONDONDERRY, NH" and I called FedEx again just to see if that slip was for some reason for my phone. It wasn't and since it is Verizon they will not allow anyone to pick it up at the facility until AFTER the first delivery attempt. Grr you Verizon.
Now I went around and gathered up some kittens all because of you Verizon and FedEx for not sorting out the packages and letting me get my phone which is less than 10 mins away.

Argggh this is painful. My phone has arrived at the sorting facility in my town and has been sitting there since 3:44 amIt's less than a 10 minute drive there too!
Mine is sitting at the sorting facility too! It's 15 minutes away. I called Fedex three times today trying to see if I could pick up the phone and it was a no because it was still in the container.

I make salsa year round. I'm addicted big time. However, this time of year I make it out of necessity. The garden goodies have to get used up for they don't last long. Makes for some great salsa though

What else do you put in it if you don't mind me asking?
Tomatoes, Jalapenos to taste, Anaheim peppers to taste, onions, cilantro, garlic, and a dash of vinegar. Salt if it comes out flat... sugar if it is bitter. All depends on the peppers.

When I use store bought.. I use hunts petite diced and or crushed tomatoes vs their fresh tomatoes.. they haven't much flavour.. All the rest of the stuff I get from the produce isle. No matter how your put it together.. it's good with a brewski or two lol.

Thanks for the tip - I think I'll head out to the store tomorrow in the morning and pick some stuff up to make. And of course it'll be good with a brewski or two, what doesn't go good with that?
