Can't get Wii Remote IME to connect

I recently purchased Wii Remote IME from the market place and I need help getting my Wii remote to connect to my Eris.

I switched to Android home as HTC Sense UI is reportedly not working correctly with said program.

I've read through the comments and I didn't catch anyone mentioning an Eris.

I've heard the Wii Remote pairing doesn't work with HTC phones.

That's what I've heard however.

yeah i read in one of the wiimote apps that it wont work on some HTC sense phones
I turned Sense UI off though.
Hopefully in the future the creator of the app can figure out how to get it to work with more phones (including my Eris, of course).

Edit: I just read the thread pkopalek linked and it the author said that even with Sense UI turned off this app may not work.

It would have been nice if the creator of this app added the link in the description for the app in the market place.

It's not HTC sense itself that causes it. It's the way sense phones handle Bluetooth.

I'm happy to report I DID get the WiiMote working with my Eris! I'm running KaosFroyo V29, a CyanogenMod based custom ROM for Eris that is Senseless.

I must say, even without the added coolness of being able to use a WiiMote to play games, KaosFroyo is truly amazing. Froyo is so awesome, and the guys that made KaosFroyo did such a good job. My Eris runs faster than ever (as in REALLY fast) and is very stable. Highly suggested!

Get KaosFroyo here ~~>

Yeah, in order to get Wii Remote to work on an HTC phone is to install a non-SenseUI rom.
