"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

Droid designate #3 IS USING all its 1Ghz processing power just to navigate Lombard St.

Implies it is on and in motion. Look for a Verizon employee walking Lombard Street. Hidden boxes are a bit too risky these days.

Somebody claimed they found #3 at Verizon Wireless on Mission Street via Twitter. Waiting to see if it is legit

@Moegonzalez

@Moegonzalez - doesn't look like he really found it, anyone can say "just found #3 blah blah". Where's the twitpic then?

@Mr1070 - A picture of a Verizon store doesn't qualify as "finding it" either. He says it's there, so where's the twitpic?

Once again, no pic, no proof.

I think it's another part of SF. As previously mentioned, the tweet implies that the phone is in motion. I still don't think any phones have been given away.

I think someone found #3 already. in the store is my guess. but I haven't seen a pic to confirm yet.

Ok, so you take north of the GG Bridge. The other two guys have Berkely/Oakland, I'll take the rest! Problem solved
Haha I'm not in Berkeley but close! I am however, always in Concord though;)

I say all of us bay area guys team up and find it, and then uh, since I'm a guide.. I get the phone? :D

yea, but he is claming he found it like 30 min ago, give it time. If I found one I would be jumping up and down for atleast 20 min, play with it for 10 min, then see about bragging and posting a pic. I think @Moegonzalez may be the first of a few lucky ones.....give them a chance to soak it in before you claim false right off the bat

Yeah, those were two different people tweeting. Also, the moe guy seems to pose it more as a question than a statement. I'm sure whoever finds it, when they find it, will twitter about it at least.

LOL don't be so gullable.

Anyone else notice that they left the "X" out of the tweet:

Droid designate #3 is using all its 1Ghz processing power just to navigate Lombard St.

Weird.

haha not gullible, I wont believe he has it until he shows proof, but I wont just jump to the conclusion that he is lying, faking or couldn't possibly find it. I guess you just have a pessimistic attitude and I have a optimistic attitude, anyways, I am in MD, so we need to work together to find one around this area.....

Going with the altitude thing, Mount Davidson is the highest point in San Fran, but it's about 30 min away from Lombard St.
