Yeah seriously I'm in Maryland and Lombard Street goes right through the heart of Baltimore and I was really about to leave my house then someone reminded me that Droid X designate #3 have all been clues for Cali people. Haha oh well.

I very briefly had that urge as well, hopefully I will get the real feeling when actual East coast clues come through!

-The next time someone tells you “hey, look at that”, you better look. It might be the Droid X.

-The missing Droid X phones aren’t going anywhere else. Unless someone finds them before you.
-How far would you travel to find a Droid X
-What’s your Droid hunting strategy? Keeping it to yourself? We don’t blame you.
-Why would a Droid X hide in your city?
-Droid X. Is it a hundred miles away or right under your feet? Stay tuned…

-What would you do if you came eye to eye with Droid X?
-Wherever people need hdmi and a 4.3” screen, Droid X will be there. Stay tuned for where that might just be.
-Here’s how it goes. You find a Droid X out there. You pick it up. You turn it on. And everything changes.
-You don’t come across a phone like Droid X every day. But you just might soon.
-Reports coming in from all check points. How many Droid X units have escaped? Some say more than a dozen...
-REPORT: Keep an eye out for the Droid X in the wild. With a 4.3” screen it can keep a pretty big eye on you.
-Droid X has everything it needs. Except a human owner. Stay tuned to find yours.
-REPORT: Surveillance confirms all Droid X have dispersed. Each one is in a separate site.
-REPORT: Droid X units have escaped! Get the stats on them at Droid Does | The Next Generation of Does by Verizon Wireless. Forewarned is forearmed.

As said before, this tweet came after the found one. Obviously it's still out there, told you so haha..

I agree with Tabe, I believe this clue mentioned Lombard St to clarify that is in San Francisco. If it hasn't been found yet, I doubt it is physically on Lombard St but somewhere else in the city. Somewhere with a high elevation and near the coast according to the other clues...

The end of Lombard st is near the coast...

I'll be surprised if it is there.

I really do still think there will be a day when they LITERALLY post coordinates to the location and it'll be a free-for-all.

Until then, we're just going to get teases like this.

Now that I think about it, it might be at a Verizon Wireless store. Even if you power it on (as instructed by a previous tweet), it still needs a data plan and etc to function. Assuming they're giving away the phones but not data plans, you would need to be at a Verizon Wireless store or at least very close to one to really turn on and use the phone.

mahers!! Get on it!! It goes with the "cybernetic" clue in the Arnold tweet.

Meh. Verizon likes OTA activations. Completely possible that it's in a box somewhere with a yellow sheet of instructions and a number to dial to activate it.

Edit: You're right about the data plan if you don't already have one though. Maybe they warn you in the call that your phone bill will now be 50% higher if you press '1' to continue. >.<

Mahers
Check the park in the area with all the curves on Lombard Street! I have a strong feeling it is there... I looks like it is on a hill with higher altitude, you would need navigation to get through that area, and it is on Lombard st.

I think the address is 1084 Lombard St, San Francisco, CA, United States

GET IT MAHERS!

I was thinking it would be on a demo line. After xx days (probably on release day) it would be deactivated.

That's just a take on what "turn it on" means.. perhaps they simply meant turn the screen on, as in "press the unlock" button?!..

I was thinking this too. Still think we would've heard something about someone finding one if it was connected to some kind of kiosk (for the hdmi tv connection as some people speculated, and power)
