What was the first mobile phone you had and how old were you?

Motorola MicroTAC ... I was 37.

BTW, this thread should be moved to the lounge.

14 or 15... Probably 15 I think.
It was a Nokia candy bar phone... I'll post a picture later.

Still have it somewhere.

Kyocera Slider.

Got it when I was 18 so I could text this hot girl I liked (am now engaged to her hehe)

Mine was an Oki 1130, these are the only pics of it I could find. It was analogue and barely made it through the day on a charge. (And people complain about the Desire's battery life!)

I was about 18, this was back when O2 was Cellnet and they charged by the minute, so a 10 second phone call cost 50p!

See my signature picture for all the phones I have ever owned.

First being the Philips (almost as big as a banana) C12 the Cousin of the Savvy on BT Cellnet, loved the Life Calculator on that. That was when I was 13.

A Nokia 5110 in late 1998 so I would have been 20. Was inspired to buy one after my car broke down in the middle of nowhere on a night that it was pouring with rain and blowing a gale.

I was 10 when I got this bosch:

And I was 17 when I actually started to carry them with me out of the house and basicly using them. (2 phones later)

I had Nokia Ringo when I was about 17

Non removable battery used to last nearly 2 weeks  and the SIM was built in as well.
