They still do. Q3 of 2009 shows Nokia with close to 38% global mobile phone market share. (Source: IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, October 29, 2009)
My first was the Nokia 5160 (or whatever carrier varient of that model Verizon had). I bought the "gecko green" faceplate for it.
