Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

So did you order on 6/13? I'm trying to find out if they handled replacements any differently since that is what I am waiting on now.

I had an estimated ship day of either 7/13 or 7/14, for the life of me I can't remember which it was.... REordered it on 6/15 though.

My order was a 6/16 with an estimated ship date of 7/14, so I'd think you'd be the 13th. Who knows though.

When you called them, what did you say exactly to have it activated on the secondary account? I am going to be going into the VZW store later this evening to activate it and get all my numbers off of my env2. I have used an upgrade for the primary number in the past and every time we tried to activate it on my line, we had to wait 24 hours before being able to switch. To avoid this process would be lovely haha

My phone has been sitting at my house since 12:45pm today and has been charging! I'm so excited to get home and I hope it won't take much longer for the light to turn green once I arrive. AHHHHHHHH! :D:D:D:D:D

Glad to see all the DIncs ship out today and a bunch that were received! Looks like HTC was able to catch up during our holiday weekend. :)
 
Hey guys, I've been lurkin a couple weeks and it seems it's finally time for me to chime in. I ordered 6/15 over the phone but the CSR was too lazy to enter my email address or even give me an order number, I told him I want to order an incredible and a minute later he goes "ok it will ship on 7/13." Luckily I called back later in the week to confirm that the order was placed and got my order number - too bad he shipped it fedex econ instead of overnight though.

No shipping info or activation message at 611 yet but I will keep you guys posted. I can't wait to see the first of the 6/15's ship!

I wish there was a way to actually see the numbers. The people that post in this forum probably make up less than 1% of Droid Incredible buyers.

Nothing about how long you should charge it for initially... :confused:

I am still thinking that I can do a crappy 2 hour charge on my stock battery and then a real 8 hour charge with the 1500 battery that I will actually be using in the phone.

At least that's my plan until someone actually confirms that this will have a negative effect on the phone and I just need to be patient :D

I just read the manual and it said that they suggest that you fully charge the phone before it's first use.

OOOOOOoooooo..... 6/16 you say? So maybe there IS a slight favor to replacements? As of now, no email, no 611, no smile....:mad:....yet ;)

This has been EXACTLY what I have been thinking. I had to go BACK to using the storm after having my Inc for only 2 weeks. It was like god saying "welcome to heaven" then two weeks later saying "Times up, back to hell ******".

And I am opting for the throwing it at a wall with fire crackers attached method....seeing how it's around the 4th of July. I was going to sell it on ebay to make a little money but I wouldn't wish this phone on my worst enemy.

You know whats funny is that I thought my storm was like this awesome phone when I got it and I have to say after 4 replacements in 1 month when I first got it; it worked pretty good the last year and a half. But man, when I saw what the Dinc can do I was completely blown away, now sad to say I think my storm sucks big bolas (spanish) LOL but I have it sold for $75.00 once I get my Dinc. (SUCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)LOL
 
Ok so I saw that a 6/16 order shipped!!!! I got really excited thinking that maybe, just maybe mine will ship a week early!!! Then I read some more and found out that it is a replacement...

I had called CS last week because my sister is on her 3rd replacement waiting on another and I havent even gotten my first. CSR informed me that replacements were more important than the backorders. That if a replacement order comes up they take a phone from a backorder and sent it to the person who needs the replacement. SOOOOOO not fair. Now I am back to being depressed and counting down until next week...



 
Wouldn't it be great if everyone went to their "edit my details" and in the box where you put your device description; put their order date and ship date so we don't have to keep asking others for it and we get a better picture of who's still left and how close we are to getting ours?
 
Ordered 06/09, shipped 7/02 and had a delivery date of 07/07. After all the delays and waiting, what do you know--the phone delivered a day early when no one was home to sign for it. I'm picking it up tonight. The wait is nearly over.
 
6/10 here (in-store), still no word and no email... called the CSR last week but refuse to give in and call again - they know nothing anyway! hopefully it'll just show up at my door within the next few days... i'm so sick of waiting i'm hardly even excited anymore!
 
Well after a month, I finally got the phone(s) in my hands when I got home from work today. As I stated in a previous post I finally got my shipping order last week and after the phone sitting 30 miles away from my house in a Fed Ex destination sort facilty since Saturday, the nice FedEx man, woman, cousin it, took my note and left my phone..6/7 order date and 7/6 date of the phone here.

It's been a long and painful journey, looking at these forums, seeing trolls, endless debates on battery life, which apps to use, what the camera quality is, whether my phone sleeps or is awake, should I switch to the X, fire swamps and 6 fingered men.

Yes, that journey stops and now, finally I can see for myself if it's worth it or not....of course now I gotta wait for the phone to charge....lol...
 
I got my phone today! I left for a few minutes but just made it back right as the fedex lady was walking away from my door. Immediately plugged it in and had to go back to work. but it will be there when i get home. I can't wait!
