Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

It's so...so...so beautiful! *sniff*

Just got home and my phone is already charged to green! I'm going to let it charge for a bit more while I eat dinner and then head over to the VZW store to get everything taken care of!
 
I talked to a csr today and it wanst much help. I asked her if she had shipping info for my phone yet. She told me to put my order confimation in fedex. At this point i was really happy until I went to fedex and nothing. :( Hope it ships early like others. If not i only have 8 days longer.
 
So, I've had my DInc since last Thursday, and for all those waiting out there, let me echo was others are saying... ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Coming from a BB Pearl, then Curve, and then Storm, I was a little partial to my crackberries, and was nervous about losing my blackberry email and switching to gmail. Well, for those wondering - GMail comes in instantly, and exchange and pop accounts come in a lot faster than BBs. The UI is absolutely amazing, and like others have said - the speed is just flat blazing. And then you connect it to WIFI... totally off the hook! The amount of programs available is staggering...and some of the stock ones are... well...incredible. (Google Sky for one!) And the whole talk to text works very well!
The customizations, as someone said, are almost overwhelming.
At anyrate, for all those waiting - it is SO WORTH THE WAIT.
For those smart phone first-timers...prepare to have your world rocked. This Droid isn't a phone...it's a computer that makes phone calls too!
 
This will be my first smartphone! I'm only 20 but I've went through like 10 phones in my lifetime haha, totally addicted. Considered the iphone for a little but fell in love with the Incredible. Have a few more weeks to wait and i'm excited :)

This is my first smart phone.... and i've been looking for a pocket sized computer that can make calls and have gps capability... looks like a perfect match..... might just be the best investment since my R6

I had called CS last week because my sister is on her 3rd replacement waiting on another and I havent even gotten my first. CSR informed me that replacements were more important than the backorders. That if a replacement order comes up they take a phone from a backorder and sent it to the person who needs the replacement. SOOOOOO not fair. Now I am back to being depressed and counting down until next week...

Well get your excitement on Joodi! Start reading some of those Incredible posts from people who have received their phones and it wll pump you up. The wait is almost over, hang in there.;);)

Yes, that journey stops and now, finally I can see for myself if it's worth it or not....of course now I gotta wait for the phone to charge....lol...

I ordered in store on 6/12. Unfortunately, a week later, my current phone decided to take a swim in a toilet (long story). So, I have been without a personal cell phone since then. I am SOOOO eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Droid Incredible. My ship date was moved back to 7/9. I haven't gotten any e-mails or updates but I hope to have it by Monday at the latest.

That really stinks about dropping it in the toilet. I also ordered on 6/12 and no emails yet.
 
im a 6/8 and still waiting. havent called once cause im trying to be patient but its not working. still no emails either. im getting sick of this wait.
 
Just called Verizon... They said that my phone is showing a shipping date of 7/9 (which is my ship by date). It should not take almost a flipping month to get a phone.
