I caved and peeked inside the boxIt says certified like new replacement, and the poor thing is naked!! No back cover or battery in it
I guess it's destined for my co-worker and I am destined to wait a little bit longer.
OMG... He actually has to use his current battery and battery cover on the replacement? That's odd!
(But I don't blame you for giving in and sneaking a peek!)

6/11 Here.
Called Verizon yesterday just for giggles and everything and got a real nice lady.
I told her I was just checking on my order seeing if its shipped yet or if there are any updates on it. I explained to her that some people who ordered their phone after me have already received it.
She informed me that yes it was BS that those people have already received it but it all depends on the warehouses and the supplies being shipped. This I already knew, but she was so nice and looked for alot of different things and she was completely honest with me.
She looked up some of the Dinc stuff and told me "Everything I pull up about the Dinc delays the page is blank....so I honestly don't know what to tell you besides your estimated shipping date is 7/9 and receive by 7/12)
I also asked her about what the other CSR said about Fedex not delivering on Sat cause of their contract with Verizon and she read the exact shipping contract to me and now where did it say it....it even listed under what grounds the FedEx man can just leave the package at the door without a signature.
The BEST part is....she didn't try to get me to switch to the Droid X. She told me that the Dinc was an awesome phone and was def worth the wait for it.

And she is RIGHT... it IS an awesome phone and definitely worth the wait. My boss has been out for two days so while I do my work I have been using the Slingplayer Mobile app to watch my home tv here in the office. So great watching the NFL Network whenever I want to!
Just continue to hang tight... it is soooooo worth it! Can't stress that enough!

When I brought my broken one to verizon they took the charger/phone/battery. So I'm hoping I get all those with my replacement.
It's a new day!!!! And I have high hopes us 6/15ers are going to start getting emails. I was getting so excited yesterday before I left the office, all these people getting their dincs.....good stuff.

I have been following this forum since I ordered 2 dinc's. Very informative and entertaining. So, I am getting impatient. I hate to beat a dead horse, but my receipt I received by email after ordering online has a 10 digit order number already. It begins with a 4 and is followed by 4 0's. I don't have a location number, but I looked at recent phones we ordered and it is always the same. So, my question is when I do the fedex trick i will use the location number from our past orders then my order number, but my order number doesn't sound like everyone else's? And do you actually include the _ (underscore) between them? Any ideas?

Well I called CS and was told they have no idea when my phone will ship...big suprise! She said "If I had to guess it will be coming in any day now. From what our sheet says you won't get it any later than 7/15. But at the rate they are going out now it could ship out later today or tomorrow. Just be patient a little longer I gaurantee it will be there soon." Nice words but the words "Here is your tracking number..." would have been better.
And the wait goes on, and on, and on....

UPDATE!! Ordered (06/12/2010 Online Late evening)
Just received my shipping notice email. Shipping from West Chester, PA to my home in Maryland today! Delivery by 9 July before 7pm. Finally on its way!
I didn't know Verizon shipped from West Chester, PA. Hopefully this will give the rest of you an idea of when yours will ship? I called a CSR yesterday evening and she said she had nothing on record for a shipment.
I'll post an update when I get it in my hand.

Not going to lie, a little disappointed with the amount of "just got my tracking number" posts so far this week. Last week was crazy. Someone earlier said they wish they could see total shipping numbers for each day and for what dates... I feel the same way, the number of users here representing compared to the total amount of Dinc users has to be way out of proportion.
I feel ya there!! didn't justify why i was up late but if i had it would of been a funny story (which no one who doesn't come hear would understand, at all, lol)

Outstanding!!!! Congrats on the shipping notice. Your wait is almost over. For those of us that are still waiting, the shipping notices give us renewed hope.
BTW, my dad was a Marine also. Served in Korea. My step-son also recently graduated from Army basic and advanced training. Your service is appreciated.
So lucky. I'm in Maryland as well and a 6/12er but haven't yet received any notification or shipping notice :/

I have an estimated ship of 7/16 which is a Friday. Meaning I probably won't have it until the following Monday or Tuesday.
I am really hoping that they get it out by 7/14 (Wed) so I can have it by Friday and spend the weekend playing with it! They put 2-day shipping on mine instead of overnight.
