What do uou put in for server name and server address port
a couple of points:
anyone ever SEEN a vzw labeled vehicle?
not me, don't think they exist. maybe for corporate high ups, and I doubt they would be waiting to be "discovered" for 3 weeks.
droid X wraps. or even red eye wraps. There is no way 1 sign company made and installed 20 something wraps. then the vehicles shipped to as many states. forget it.
No way 20 sign shops made and installed as many wraps, too many people involved to keep it secretive.
no way could they afford to chance people stopping on major interstates or roads to look at billboards, the chance of someone getting killed by motorists too great.
Has to be a park or something where there is legitimate parking, free or not doesn't matter.

I'm goping it means that more phones (higher numbers) are being added.
Though, I still think it's stupid to talk about new phones when the originals still haven't been found. But that's just me. They're the supposed marketing people so clearly they know better @.@
new billboards painted, pasted, put up for new droid recently, then all it takes is 1 Verizon employee to come by and drop off or a hide a phone. Simple as that, everything is on Verizon Property and controlled by them, so nothing can turn into a lawsuit, on another property. Usually these contests/free giveaways have been approved by lawyers or high ups in the company to cover their asses. I don't think they are in cars or with employees waiting for you, just hidden at Verizon Droid X related signs......
but like you said its just my 2 cents also.......
Billboards are not generally owned by individual companies. They are rented. I fully doubt they will be at billboards. All it takes is one dumbass looking for an X to climb to the top in his search, and fall off.

DroidLanding Droid X designate #6 is in the southernmost part of the country. Unless you count Hawaii. Droid X counts everything.

Droid X designate #6 is in the southernmost part of the country. Unless you count Hawaii. Droid X counts everything.
Very contradicting clue. 1st clue for #6 said head for the keys and work your way up. Now it says southernmost part, which is in Key West, but then it says NOT to discount Hawaii!??!?! Makes perfect sense...NOT!

Ok here is something I have not seen mentioned on here....
If the phones are in fact on and connected to a screen through HDMI that means they have been running for god knows how long placing intense strain on the CPU and other parts of the phone. I do not see them being left on for this long, because let's face it...who wants to find a phone that is going to have problems down the road due to having heavy graphics ran that long on it?
Another point....
If you find one of these phones you would also need the manual and the cables that come with it right? I do not see them placing a phone by itself in the middle of somewhere without the original box, and original cables/manuals. I know it would be awesome to get such a sweet phone for free, but I am one of those people that I do not want to have it in the back of my mind that this phone is not fresh out of the box.

I seriously doubt Verizon owns any billboards. Those spots are usually bought up before the roads are even built.

The Florida Keys is the southern most point of the Continental United States, there is a buoy there marking the spot.

Yes, this is not surprising to me. They do a lot of fulfillment out of a Memphis warehouse. My POS Storm I came out of that warehouse. God what a pain in the ass that was since I live in Memphis as well.
I suspect they will ship my Droid X from there as well when I go to the store to purchase it.

They could have the phones sitting out with some type of note or information on how to get the manuals etc. Maybe there's a hidden phone but they give you a brand new box if it is, in fact, sitting out and on all day.
I don't know that is enough to discredit the phone being left on and attached to a tv (though, I don't fully believe that school of thought anyway)
