Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

The Verizon CSR called me back and told me it would ship by 7/22 ... I leave for vacation 7/23. Which means I have to get fed-ex to hold it until I get back.

Ordered: 6/10/2010
Original Ship by Date: 7/7/2010
Actual Ship Date: 7/1/2010
Actual Arrival Date: 7/2/2010
Actual In Hand Date: 7/6/2010 (Made for a slightly distracted vacation! :) )

First Android phone. Overall like it although had a call quality issue on my end. They are shipping a "like-new" replacement to arrive tomorrow. I could have gone with a new phone but then I'd be waiting another 3 or 4 weeks. Could actually get a new one -- apparently they had to pull some new phones to seed their replacement stock.
 
Gaaah!

Just heard a knock at my door. Looked out the window to see the Fedex truck so I hurried to answer the door. Turns out they were just delivering a pool pump we ordered last week.

checked my inbox and still no notification.

Man it makes makes my heart drop:(:( It's gonna happen though! Just go out and enjoy the pool while you wait;)

Ok so let's say I was wishful thinking when I replied to your earlier post, and it worked! Now Congrats!!!!!!!!;)
 
I was really hoping there would be a bunch of shipping notifications like yesterday but so far it seems like a slow Dinc shipping day :mad: Seems we only have seen notifications on 6/12 and earlier orders today even though yesterday we were at 6/14.
 
Ordered on line 6/12...was told 7/12 ship date.
Just rec'd email stating it shipped...tracking number confirmed.. will be here tomorrow. Shipping out from West Chester PA. I live in upstate NY.

My kids think I'm crazy seeing me dancing the droid happy dance....

Right there with you. I saw all the 6/14's yesterday and that gave me hope that our's would....*ahem* WILL ship by Friday this week.... I'm hoping.

I'm kinda worried because some of these replacement people are getting just a phone when they get theirs. The Verizon store took everything minus the SD card when they took mine back and reordered me one. Like I said though it was counted as a DOA not under insurance or anything like that.

EDIT: Just looked at my receipt from the store from when I did the re-order. There is a number at the bottom next to the lettering A/C. It's 15 numbers.... any idea what this is?
 
i just can't take it anymore.. i've been waiting sooo long... you guys don't understand how i feel;)

order date 6/15, ship date 7/14...:mad:

been without a phone for a month and a half............. i might go insane by the time i actually get my Dinc
