Alpena, Michigan has the world's largest cement plant.

Michigan Fast Facts and Trivia

Probably near Detroit...........

Well, the St.Louis one was built @ 2006, and the one in Alpena was from the early 1900s. Although upgraded over the years, I still don't think it would 'take the crown' so soon.

[Edit: Learning about cement production: St.Louis one produces ~4 million metric tons a year, the Alpena one ~2.7 (as of '04)]

Now that we can assume #17 is St.Louis, what does the previous post about "[..] can take anything you throw at it. Just like the people where it landed" mean?

Well, it is the "Gateway to the West" which could refer to people landing there before moving westward.

Edit: It could also refer to the fact that original travel to what became St. Louis was typically by the Mississippi River.

Looked into it a little bit and it seems they get a lot of storms/flooding. Perhaps that's what it's referring to. [Edit:] Well, looking a little more it seems a lot of states get just as many 'major disasters' as MO does (according to FEMA declared Major Disasters)]

Logically that clue does not point to Hawaii. I also think people are reading too much into it by assuming they should look in the keys. Outside of Hawaii, all of "south Florida" can be considered the southernmost "part" or "area" of the country. It didn't say most southern "point".

I think we've all come to the conclusion so far that @Droidlanding is not very "logical". So I wouldn't count on logic to follow the clues.

Again any two people can interpret any of these clues differently. None are direct enough to give a reason to begin searching. I still am not "sold" that they will be giving these away.

Time to get some work done........

Back real quick to the Droid X "random shipping" stories. I've spoke with verizon a good bit, they do feel like if anyone was shipped a droid x it was most likely a director or supervisor for a call center.

Basically in preparation to support the 100's of thousands of devices that will soon be on the network @ release. These will be shipping to many call centers\directors now if not soon. I do admit, a director or call center supervisor claiming to have a random phone shipped to him sounds like a neat story for sure.

Don't let that story get you down, and I've had no luck with calling verizon and "tricking" them into letting me order\pre-order one. They have no order sku is basically what they've said.

If anyone has any luck let us know.

That's a museum, not HoF

edit: well, technically :) could be either still, unless they really meant big SKY country.

I'm surprised they'd bring one to OK before some of the bigger east coast cities, but I'd be extremely surprised if it was near the Montana Cowboy HoF. But I've also never heard OK referred to as big country, either.

#11 cannot be in Texas because a previous clue indicated it was in a land-locked state.

Search for "cowboy hall of fame" on google, first hit is the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. It says in the first line under that in the search "Formerly known as the Cowboy Hall of Frame".

I think #11 is in Oklahoma City. I'm betting it's not at the Cowboy Museum.

I think your a genius and gratefully welcome you to help us find these bad boys!

What are your thoughts on the all the processor\processing references possible related to?

I can almost Swear that -

HDMI & CPU References have a corrasponding meaning as well

I agree. I'm catching up so sorry if I am repeating...but HDMI is always lowercase in the clues...which is weird.

I think it's in Billings, Montana, but I will shoot something at you that supports Oklahoma City....

1.

Big Country could refer to Bryant Reeves the Basketball player who was born in Oklahoma City and had the nickname "Big Country"

HAHAHAHAHAHA:D
