On second glance, the clues for #18 conflict...

Droid X designate #18 was last seen near interstate 80. Drivers are advised to stay alert.

Droid X designate #18 is near the Mall of America. Possibly visiting the Verizon Wireless store there.

I-80 does not go through Minnesota. And is definitely not "near" Bloomington.

Maybe not...maybe it traveled I 80 to get to Mall of America
 
There are 2 VZW stores in the MoA.. I am about 20 minutes from the MoA.

Unfortunatly, its my anniversary and wife is waiting in OTHER direction!!!!

Lucasfilms' headquarters is in the Presidio, which I think ties in to the part of the clue that said "start at the shore and work in". The Presidio is bordered by the Pacific and the bay. Lucasfilms is really close to the bay side. I don't know anything about the altitude. I thought maybe that would mean Skywalker Ranch, but I don't think that's open to the public, so that can't be it.

Also, I think the first post that says #13 is in Michigan is wrong. Stan Lee was born in NYC. Excelsior is the state motto of New York. There's also an Excelsior College in Albany. I thinking DX might be in a ballpark somewhere. "Excelsior" is from the Bullpen Bulletins that Stan Lee used to write. They weren't related to baseball, but it kind of fits.

Funny you guys mention that location as me and my cousin were thinking of checking it out to see if we could find anything. I actually mentioned it like 10 pages back in passing but no one seemed to jump on it, but I figured its worth a try. Lombard runs right into the Presidio and the Lucasfilms HQ campus is one of the first areas you will see once entering the Presidio thru Lombard. This area in general is higher than the Coit Tower area (other end of Lombard), so it'd make sense with that altitude clue.

I think you'll be fine. While we definitely skipped the state clue I don't see this as skipping all the way to the "I AM HERE" clue. I'd say we have the city. Though... if someone does want to go have a look, I don't think any of us will complain. :)

I agree, as they mention "possibly" not "is visiting."
 
I found several within minutes of Mall of America. I don't have any idea about MN just looking at Google Maps in comparison to Mall of America.

It said near...these are all near. I want to call but I know you have to go there to find the clues....

OK, been following this thread for day's now and the Twitter for the last 2 weeks...had to sign up.
Us PNW'ers need more #7 clues. Yesterday, I noticed a box nailed to a tree at an intersection, I pulled off, went to inspect, and it was a darn insect trap.
I want one of these in a bad way...NOW!
