Accessories Any word on a VZW Dock for the Incredible????

Any information about this has been vauge at best. Anyone heard anything about VZW releasing a dock (for the Incredible) similar to the one for the Moto Droid?

Difference in manufacturers certainly show... It's disappointing that HTC cannot get a third party following (like an apple product base) and then not even have the ability to handle accessories themselves...

by the time the desktop cradle is available the phone will be discontinued and I'll be interested in the Moto Droid X :(
 
Yeah I really am having a hard time understanding why more accesories aren't available closer to the time of release. I also would like a landscape dock like the one above. something I could set on my night stand with built in plug to charge phone at same time. And where's out TV OUT cable. Lack of accesories and already rumors of Incredible fading away dissapointing.
 
I have a feeling (no proof, just a gut feeling) that we won't be seeing a dock. I mean, it's been 2 months since the release. I would expect some sort of delay, which is typical. Seems like the Incredible is the red headed Verizon step child.
 
I think the reason we haven't seen a dock is because landscape mode for Sense UI isn't available in Android 2.1. Rumor has it that Sense UI will support landscape mode in 2.2.

I thought this was the case too. Sense doesn't even have an automatic dock clock like the moto droid. Vids of 2.2 show the landscape mode and a charging/ clock dock mode. I bet dollars to donuts the cradle will come out after 2.2 when it can actually be used like the moto droid.

Not on the home screen no. The moto can be put in the dock and the screen comes on in landscape to charge. Sense only goes landscape in programs like internet or games

Sense has no landscape mode, but its not a limitation of android. The default clock app for example has a landscape mode, as do homescreen replacements like launcher pro. In short there's no good software excuse for no dock.
