Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

How do you find out the date the purchase went through versus the date you ordered your phone? I ordered mine on 6/20 and credit card showed order pending on 6/20. But given that 6/20 was a Sunday, should I expect it wasn't confirmed until 6/21?

That's what I'm thinking. 6/26 was a Saturday, so i'm thinking it went through Monday 6/28.

I dont know about the $10-20 thing. I use FedEx all the time never used priority or any special shipping or had to pay extra for them to deliver to my house on Saturdays. Not once (to my knowledge) have I had to wait until Monday for a Saturday shipping. But thats just my personal experience. Might be different for different regions.:confused:

This is what I got off of the Fedex website. What do you think fedex 2 day is considered?

Delivery days and times vary by service type:
  • FedEx Express: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (and Saturday with Saturday delivery special handling option)
  • FedEx Ground: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • FedEx Home Delivery: Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 
I deff think they are shipping faster. When i first ordered on the 26th i was quoted ship by july 28 maybe august. Now it is ship by july 23rd according to the vzw kiosk. :D

Still waiting, hope they actually ****ing ordered it, got it ordered from the verizon store. If they didn't, cuz I haven't gotten any emails for it, I'm going to be ****ing pissed, because we payed for it the day we ordered it.

I want to call and make sure I have it ordered to, because I made a few phone calls today with questions about cancelling my order.. but I never said I wanted to. Hopefully for the both of us, ours are ordered.

yeah, I'm getting kind of worried, since people seem to be getting theirs early and stuff. : / man this bites. I haven't had a cell phone for a good week or two since mine ended up breaking. Yup. Two weeks before my new phone comes in. Sucks.

That's horrible! I added a new line onto my moms account, and am using my lgvx8700 while i wait.. don't know how you're surviving haha. Did you order in store? This makes me feel less bad that I haven't gotten an email or anything.. I may call tomorrow just to make sure

Yeah, In store. With a rep. Paid all 61 dollars for it. (rebates, bahaha) and I haven't gotten an email for it or anything, but they say its shipping to my house and they read my address out for me and everything, so I know its shipping to my house. : / that is, if its ordered.
 
Long time reader (since about Mid June) finally the wait is over! Thanks everyone for keeping up to date on shipping times, verizon issues and more. My phone arrives tomorrow!!
