"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

Besides the one about the "docks" and the reposted "cubs/sox" tweets, are there any that have been deleted and aren't on the @droidlanding twitter page?

I am in N. GA. I went to Huntsville last weekend after the rocket tweet. Had fun at the Space Center, enjoyed the Star Wars exhibit. Depending on when the tweet is, I will race you to it. The TN X is also in my sights, depending what part of TN it is in.

I think that was the second tweet. That tweet claimed that DX had a 1 Ghz Snapdragon; while everyone expected an OMAP. The tweet was then quickly deleted (people suspected that DroidLanding wasn't a real thing and blah blah blah).
Bottom line: it was just a mistake that doesn't affect the hunt...
 
To the guy asking about Washingtonians- I'm down here in Vancouver, so if the phone ends up in Portland I'll do what I can to get there in time. I've been watching droid #7 but am slightly annoyed that we have only had one real clue. I wouldn't count the "warmer climate" as a clue since it's damn hot all over the PNW right now...

Yes, keeping my eye on #9 too, but I'm assuming it will go to Nashville and 1. That's a little too far of a chase for me, and 2. I know very little about navigating Nashville, or even Knoxville, so it would be futile for me to attempt it. I am just excited that there may be one so close in Huntsville. I know I don't have much of a chance to get it, but following all of this has been fun. I hope someone from this forum gets it! If it is where I can't go for it, I would definitely help someone here if I could. I pretty much know Huntsville like the back of my hand. Went to UAH for a year. Waiting for a good morning from DroidLanding!
 
I'm going to be out and about today, got the twitter client up and running on the wife's ally, and I'll be checking it every 5 minutes! :D After of course they start dropping hints about huntsville again like they did with NY. They made it very obvious that they were about to tweet the location, so I'm hoping they make the rest of them just as obvious

DroidLanding Droid X designate #20 is in a city where everybody knows its name. Or they will in 2 days.

Where was Cheers located? Boston? ... also 2 days ? WTF .. does that mean no phone giveaways for 2 days ?
 
No I don't think it means none for two days. I think it means Boston in 2 days. My theory is this: I think they give out 1 more than they did the previous day. So, for today, there should be 2. Tomorrow 3 etc. It will culminate with 6 being given out on the 14th just before release. I also think that the second New York phone will be the last one. Don't they have the only store that is doing a midnight release? Just something to chew on while we wait.


Ack never mind today is only the 9th. was one day off...

Maybe its saying that the Boston Droid X's final clue will be given in 2 days? Either way I'll be ready!!!

If it ends up being in the city of Boston, god damn parking is going to be a bitch!

Droid X designate #13 will be in NY's second largest city in 5 days. Droid hunters should make that population explode.

Tweete coming in fast and furious and it seems like they are laying the plan out for each phone. Sure, make it even harder for us by inviting the world to chase them now. :(
