Cheapest way to buy the "X"!

Has anyone found any available discounts or rebates that would reduce the $199 + $35 activation fee currently advertised for the Droid X?

Not unless you have a B2B discount on your line. The Inc is $99 for me (and $49 in June) I am hoping I get the extra $100 off on the X as well and the free activation. If you work for a corporation or government you may get an employee discount.

I get 20% off discounts on any phone because of my Business Account we have through VZW, we have roughly 100+ lines...

So if I DO find a stray droid, say at Wal-Mart/SAMS club, I will just make it on my personal account and still get that 20% discount.

lol I would be making it a new personal line of its own, making the phone cost only $199.99 +tax (AMIR) plus the additional 20%

Plus, my VZW company provider already has me down to do a "Test Drive" for 3 months to see if I like it.

So I could possibly have 2 X's with in the first week!

You sure can. The last 2 phones I bought at full retail and used my corporate discount. Once was in a Verizon store and the other was via *611.

My discount includes equipment, data, and voice.

I was able to order an Incredible for $49.99 in June. It is suppose to ship to me on 7/23. I may cancel it if I can get Verizon to sell me a Droid X at a similar price. I have 4 upgrades available to me. If they want to keep me then they need to deal with me.
