On one day they will have to do a drawing of 4/ or 5 if they do no add one to July 13. This is just my shot in the dark from current locations. Seems to be 2 in about same region followed by one from somewhere else.

I figure Houston, OKC, and Denver will be some combination i.e(Houston, OKC; OKC, Denver; Houston, Denver).

Well, it supposed to be - if you follows the rules word by word...

Dates and times of Certificate placement will vary, but the final clue of each GPS location for each Certificate will be tweeted at the time it is hidden.

Besides @droiddecoder, is there any other info that #15 is in Denver? My guess is that this one is going to be one of the "here's the gps, go and get it" ones without any more clues... Hopefully on Wednesday so I can try for it :)
 
are you seriously flaming me for looking at the actual events versus the rules? Name ONE time when what they "Say" is going to happen, ACTUALLY happens.

Ok i'll try and break this down so everyone can understand it. Every place they hide a certificate has GPS coordinates. Everything on earth has GPS coordinates. we all get that.

What they mean by final clue is the hint that they have been giving about 30mins before they tweet the actual coordinates. The coordinates would be considered the answer to the final clue. The GPS coordinates are not considered the final clue.

So it should actually read like this...
"Dates and times of Certificate placement will vary, but the final clue of each certificate location will be tweeted at the time it is hidden. And then 30mins later, the answer to the final clue will be posted as GPS coordinates."

Yeah. Which is frustrating, considering tomorrow is the day for 17 and the city isn't even narrowed down yet. I'm prepared to spend my entire day in downtown Detroit tomorrow (which is akin to ASKING to be robbed and mugged), but I'll be sorely disappointed if it turns out 17 was meant for SLC.

Detroit has gone through tough times, hence the it can take anything you can throw at it.
The cement factory is in Alpena (Michigan)
The first MODERN stop light was used in Detroit, on Woodward and Michigan Avenue. The current location of Woodward and MI Ave is Campus Martius Park. I think it will either be there, the Joe Louis Fist or the Ren Cen.

Wait, so @droiddecoder is legitimately working with the promotion? THAT changes things a bit...

But even @droiddecoder only says "pending" for Detroit. Does that mean just because the OBVIOUS clue hasn't been given out (like the Cubs / Sox clue), or just because he doesn't know?

That makes sense. And with some of the clues given out, I can definitely see those spots and a few other spots.

And nah, the D is my home man. I was mainly just joking for all those who have heard Detroit is rough.
 
X that's exactly what decoder emailed me.... huuummmm.. you got my dm also???? You have ESP?? Final clue contains approximate. GPS location. Face it dlanding screwed up...bottom line

The modern traffic light makes me 99.99% sure it is Detroit.

The largest cement plant is just a weird clue that gives the 'tree of utah' => SLC some merit, since the Alpena cement plant is no longer the largest, and there are better things around Michigan to hint towards (right??).

Every other clue leads me to believe Detroit moreso than SLC, however.

Same here. I mean, I already called work off and my girlfriend said it'd be nice to take a trip through the city tomorrow, but I still don't feel like waltzing around all day if it ends up being in SLC. I wish @droidlanding would post another clue tonight to solidify it one way or another.
 
First modern electric traffic light in salt lake in 1912 8 years later Guy in Detroit modified it making 4 way light.
Largest cement plant. .. a tree make of cement outside salt lake
 
Checking on the placement w/in 1-2 mi radius of a verizon store theory...seems to hold up... Maybe some triangulation is in order? Draw a circle around the stores in the main part of the city and see if they overlap somewhere "famous" or known in the town? Any thoughts?
