Accessories HTC EVO 4G Fuel Lite - Battery Extender Case

UPDATE: I contacted Case-Mate and this is what they said: "Not it the works now, but we're aware of a high demand so we'll definitely be considering it!"

Keep voting and requesting this through Case-Mate!

Guys this may be a good solution until then even though it's a bit pricey...

Primo Battery Cube for SmartPhones

So, why are we okay to settle on cases that cost so much more and aren't really for our devices?

The manufacturer or the cell provider should be stepping up.

Why is it that crapple seems to be the only company that has accessories for their crapple products when they come out? How come OEMs don't have products for for other types of devices.

Sprint should be ashamed of itself. As should HTC.

Volume, basically. Though exactly what does apple put out at launch that other manufacturer's don't? Certainly not battery cases. Normal cases for the Evo were available from launch from Sprint.

Wow, let me call bullsh*t on this. Crapple may make godforsaken products that are the equivalent of screaming mimis when the rest of the industry is actually concentrating on usefulness. Crapple makes their sh***y products available to the OEMs long before they're due out.

I wish for the love of gods that HTC/Sprint (aka, we need to shoot ourselves in the a$$) learns from their example.

"Regular" cases were NOT available at launch BTW, not sure what you read or what you were smoking, but they weren't and still aren't.

If they did, crapple would be out of business.

What in the world are you talking about? There were no less than 4 cases available at Sprint stores from launch. All of them are pretty typical cases. Call bullshit on yourself.

Not completely sure where you live that you can say that there were "4 cases available at Sprint stores from launch". I live in Brooklyn, work in Manhattan, I've been so far to 3 Radio Shack stores and 3 Sprint stores. Beyond the screen protectors (Radio Shack) and soft gel cases (Sprint stores), there has been NOTHING available at these places. I have checked online and in the local stores and every time I go in and ask, the same answer I get is "nothing has come in for that." It's embarrassing going in there and knowing that there isn't a single decent case available more than a month after the devices were released. Perhaps you've got stock of stuff in the suburbs, but in the city, we don't have anything. So, yes, I am calling BS on this. After waiting for more than a month, I've still got NO choices here for cases or cradles available from the local stores.

I live in Manhattan and I can definitively say that there are cases available, since launch to boot. There's crappy silicon skin, the body glove hard case, the "tri color" hard case, and the really ugly white/chrome snap on case. Best buy also has the crappy seido hardcase, rebranded to Platinum I believe. Don't stop into RS unless I need diodes, capacitors, and circuit boards so no clue on their offering. Last I was in a Sprint store, which was last week, there were cases in stock (read Flatiron Sprint store). IMO save your money and spend it on some of the online offerings. :D
