"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

#12 is in cleveland. @droiddecoder lists the locations of all of them and since they are part of the promotion i'd listen to what they have to say. Also, all the clues given up to this point are irrelevant to where it is actually hidden.

Yeah. But how do we know that they are part of the promotion? Also I looked at the site, Cleveland isn't bold, so Its not guaranteed. Also I think I found a place in cbus that it may be. I'm not sharing though. Lol.

C'mon man, don't ruin the fun for the rest of us.
Got any ideas on where it's hidden?

Lol haha. I was just joking lol. It's just me hunting by myself....trying to scare off some competition lol. But i was reading a blog earlier, and the poster mentioned the Regal Cinema that's located right next to the Cheesecake Factory, since the last few phones were placed by restaurants. But who knows...it's Seattle. My personal bet is on either the space needle, the convention center, or Seattle center..

Oh phew, I was worried there for a minute. That's mostly what I was thinking. Did the blogger have any insider information?

So i too was at the droid #17 hunt in michigan. the crap part was they told us that you could see the ambassador bridge from where it was. that was definately not true. it was in an enclosed outdoor patio type deal at the restaraunt. the reps were EXTREMELY friendly and all the reps had cameras going filming everything. the winner was an awesome dude. congrats to him. so a word of advice to everyone just ignore the clues lol they dont really help at all.

Not complaining at all, but I would really like it if they went back to the actual "clues" part of the game. Most of the fun so far has been trying to figure out where they were by using the clues since I'm only in one city. I've got my camo paint on, though, because I'm droid hunting today!

So for Dallas, #5, I'm guessing the south of nebraska was the region clue, state as big as the 4.3" screen was the state clue, and grassy knoll was the city clue.

Do you think any of those give an idea of WHERE in dallas it will be?

Well I am pretty centrally located here in Houston, so I hope that give me an edge. You're right though; this place is huge. Here's to hoping for a gift card...

I just wish they had give Houston SOOOME kind of clue as to where it might be. Better not be NASA... (City, we have a problem...)

Hmm.. I was looking around on google maps, and even though it said theme parks for #6 and we all shoot for orlando, perhaps on the off chance, it might be Tampa? there is a giant verizon store/corporation there in downtown tampa, and Tampa does have a couple theme parks there...

That is still a good possibility. In my DM's with DroidDecoder, he said he was only 60% sure it would be in Orlando. He said he doesn't know the locations until the coords. go out...which could be true, if they send DroidDecoder the coords. before tweeting them. DroidDecoder seems to only have the address a few minutes before coords. go out. And, it would make sense to keep the location as secret as possible from as many Verizon employees as possible, to prevent a corrupt employee.

Tampa does have a higher concentration of Verizon stores and has many more "historical" eateries than Orlando...If you stay in Tampa today, you might be the only one down there. lol

oh man i'm anxious as can be today!!! hahaha... man i hope i'm the only one in buffalo that knows about this (i know its wishful thinking)....

Droid Landing tweet: Better loosen up. Big day today! There are 7 Droid X phones out there. Start stretching.
