A lot so far seem to be at restaurants/food places near by. Any famous places to eat near Verizon stores?

Either way...I don't have a smart phone. I have a non 3g Sidekick, and the internet browser SUCKS! lol So...I'll be somewhere that I can get a good enough wifi signal for my laptop, yet still be in my car. ^_~

I think it'll just be a guess as to where I stage tomorrow, at least until a very useful clue comes out like, "Are you ready? Droid X designate #6 is on the west side of Orlando. GPS coordinates in 30 minutes!" :rolleyes: Useless clue.

I was standing around Alec Guiness' star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

"These aren't the Droids you're looking for."

Instead they go for a freaking hot dog stand.

I was thinking about the food thing but, no one place stands out in my mind. There's millions of places to eat in Orlando. lol We do have that 3 story McDonald's on I-Drive though...they claim to be the biggest something...I forget if it's the biggest on East Coast, or America, or just Florida. But, it is really damned big. lol

Again, I doubt it's at Universal with paid parking or Downtown Disney, which is VERY tight on their promotions...they even are doing away with Star Wars Weekend and already did away with that Soap Opera Weekend thing. And, since it is July ands school is out...the tourist places will have no parking available by noon. My friend who works for Disney said the resorts there were at 97% capacity yesterday...

Anywhere near Texas? I'm 6'8", 360 (as of this morning)... between the two of us, we'd intimidate anyone from coming near the hidden phone! :D

Also, I can't think of any famous or historical restaurants in Dallas... time to do some research!

lol That's the same thing I said. minus the ball pit part. ^_^ With how many of us there'll be looking for #6...someone here better find it! ^_^

Hey Torgo, did you walk right past the hiding spot several times like gctrullinger?! lol
Man that sucks... We had 2 people from the IRC channel right there with a real chance to get it, but some a-hole got lucky... lol
 
OKC/Cowboy hall of fame here I come! Also here's to hoping that it follows the clue and it's at the cowboy hall of fame as it would be the furthest distance at 3.2miles away from a verizon store

I was on the phone with her while she was searching. Yea, she walked all over. She was the first one there, but no luck. I was on google earth, trying to help, but it wasnt enough.....

I heard the yelling over the phone, when he got it. I felt bad......

Hah! Yeah I was on the phone with CodyS and gctrullinger and heard it all as well! gctrullinger was asking people (that didn't look like they were hunting) if they saw where they hid it. At one point he was like "I think Torgo is here!" lol
 
I'm really hoping I find #9. My luck they'll have that one out early in the day and I won't have a chance. I work until 4 but would be flexible to leave after 1. I live right outside of Nashville near the Airport, so if it was after work I could hit nearly anywhere easily.
 
Make love to a duck! I've been down and out almost all friggen day. Tried to install a new rom and completely thought I bricked my phone. Had to reroot and missed everything. Sucks we were so close. Someone post the irc crap please
 
Ok so here is my Detroit experience....

I wake up around 10 am. I head downtown and get there around noon. I thought that the stop light clue meant that it would be at Campus Martius park, because the first light was at Michigan Ave and Woodward. Im there from noon until about 5. At 5, I call my gf to meet me downtown to have dinner. We got to this place called Slows BBQ. This is a very famous BBQ place in MI. At 6, we head back to Campus Martius to hang out and wait a little longer. After receiving the Ambassador Bridge clue, I decided to stay at the park because it was outside. When I got the GPS coordinates, I was like **** I was just in that area. Long story short, it turns out the phone was in the patio section of the restaurant that I was at only 2 hours earlier. I am beyond frustrated....
