"Missing Droid X Real-World Give-Away" Contest (1st Post:Updated)

I was going to announce that I'm officially out. I was going to head into Birmingham tomorrow AND find it. This is Alabama we are talking about, not the most populous by any means.

So whats his name, starts with a Z***, I'm going to let you find it tomorrow. You Best find it or if you don't think you can make it, I Might reconsider.

Historic historic? Vulcan Park? Lot's of good places to hide it, sad I will have to miss out on this one. It's killing me seeing all those extra guys come up late.

I've already found #7, but VW says to be fair, they still have to play along with the tweets. They are just going to tweet that it's been found 1 second after tweeting the co-ords. Sorry guys, might as well stay home in the PNW.;):p

That is funny and a nice try, I wold play along with you if I was going to get #7. I would have time to active & setup my droid X, then take a video of you looking for it. Could probably have it on Youtube before you saw me ;)

I am in Nashville, any ideas?

Know where the small town restaurants and public parks\attractions are.

Watch all the videos over users finding them so you know where and how they hide them.

Refresh on the tips from the others who have found them.

Don't be distracted by the bs.

I am not from Nashville, don't know where everything is. I was hoping someone that knows the area would have an idea of a location.

my first initial thought with the clue a screen as big as the grand ole opry was the IMAX theater right across the street in Opry Mills. I'm not sure if thats open to the public though with all the damage from the flooding

to go along with niceshot, i'm pretty sure that how they hide the certificates and how they choose the location is up to the local team...so far there really doesn't seem to be any kind of pattern i can find at all...some have been at restaurants, and some at public attractions...

i just hope they put the one in buffalo where i think they might

Looks like they're going with locally famous, as opposed to nationally or regionally known eateries. For Houston, all I can come up with is Pappa's BBQ, the Aquarium, and Niko Niko's. Pappa's is a chain, though, so I think we can rule that out. Niko Niko's has no place to hide and it's crazy busy at lunch (or all the time, really). Am I missing something?
