Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Hello, All.

I've been lurking around this forum almost since I ordered my DInc 6/22 online. Due to a mishap involving my palm centro and a cup of coffee, I've been using my husband's old motorola Q. You. Have. No idea how much I NEED that DInc!

So...according to an email I received from VW, my ship-by date is 7/20. I'm so hoping it will be earlier than that. Don't think I could have gotten through the last few weeks with you guys. I've already started calling 611. :)
 
And just as I post that, I got my notification!

SOOO excited right now. There is hope that my 6/19 will go out by tomorrow and I will have it by Friday. Yippee!

I think you read right. When I was on the phone with verizon last week (dial *611 and then pressed "0") the guy told me that if my order is delivered late then I would get a $25 gift card. I'm pretty sure he said this applied to all customers right now, however, the deliveries are coming in early so I'm not worried!

Just wanted to post this just in case someone else here does happen to get a late shipment... call verizon and ask for a gift card! It doesn't hurt to ask and the worst they can say is sorry, no.

Ordered 6/18 with original ship date of 7/16. Eta is 7/15 by 7pm. Thanks everyone for helping me keep my sanity and good luck to those still waiting!

Well great, just great. Up until today I just had to refresh this thread over and over.

Now that a lot of 6/18's and a 6/19 went out, I am now calling 611 and doing the Fed Ex trick over and over again.

I'm not going to get anything useful done until I get my shipping notification. Then I probably won't get anything done for a couple of days after receiving it because I will be too busy playing with the phone!

This phone might ruin my life. My social life, at least.

You might not need a fedex trick, email verizon and ask about your order and if it is still scheduled to be shipped by "insert whenever they told you."

When I did this, they gave me my Location and Order number, which combined, were my tracking number.

Agarygirl,

I am so with you, except one day behind. I started calling 611 yesterday, can't ever be too careful right? We can agonize through the next week or so together.

I've called twice so far, and both times the person on the other end of the phone was just as excited as anyone in this thread because they too had DIncs. As soon as I mentioned my order for a DInc they started rambling about how awesome the phone is. :D Once I talked to Don, and then Stacy on another day. lol
 
On the way home from work yesterday, I saw a FedEx truck (FeddddddExxxxx:eek:). I wanted to abandon my route home and provide a personal escort to its destination.

Congratulations to all who have rec'd their notices today, sounds like they are shipping out a bunch right now.

I know you will enjoy it when it arrives, as everyone has said many times before, it is worth the wait. (or at least it makes you forget about how bad the wait was.)
 
Are any of the new Incredibles shipping with AMOLED or are they all TFT LCDs or whatever they are called?

I ordered my Incredible very late in June or very early in July so I think I will be waiting quite a while more! :(

LOL, I wouldn't bet on much sleep tonight! Unfortunately there wasn't much of that the past two nights, wondering if FedEx was going to deliver or not. All the 6/18's rolling and I expect to see your excited post coming really soon:D
 
Hello all,

Been a long weekend of family visits. My house is finally my house again. lol. Congratulations to everyone who got their phones/emails/tracking numbers. I still havent gotten anything. Little pissed since I ordered on 6/16 and 6/18 & 6/19's are being shipped. Here's hoping for a notice today.
