ok so all along i figured anchor bar, creators of wings (yes the real creators not just claimers). I work two blocks away, and this morning i drove thru the parking lot just to have a looksee and see if anyone was there.
final clue about "start at waterfront and then go past the 190 (its an interstate that cuts thru downtonw bflo) made me immediately think Pearl st. brewery (very popular place esp. for hockey games and they brew all their own beer on site). looked all over the place inside and out while i was waiting for the coordinates, with my g/f checking twitter at her office and me on the phone. several other people also figured pearl st.
coordinates come thru, i see people walk away, and my g/f says get your ass to anchor bar...on the OTHER side of downtown, no where near the waterfront.!!!!!!!!!
so i flew over there, i'd say 20-25 people were scouring the inside and outside and after i got there and ran INSIDE, some guy just happened to think to look behind the original owners parking sign (if you've been there you know what i'm talking about) and found it!!!!
Oh well, I had a blast, looks like i'll be buying a droidx now instead of winning one...
too bad i actually started going to ancor bar when the last clue was sent, was half a block from there and turned around b/c it didn't make sense with the twitter clue...
as a side note, i don't think the people that hide the cert. are the ones that send the notifications, i said the last clue was crappy and misleading and a couple of them were like, oh, i haven't even read it yet!

You went too far down to the waterfront didn't you The more I looked at google maps after that clue came out I realized all they were saying it was North/West of the 190

Yeah, D-Town is going to be a mad dash, I'm sure. I had originally planned to be in the northern part, but decided at the last second to go downtown because I didn't know how much the whole "within a mile of a vZw store" pattern held water. Now I'm just in a holding pattern in the Ren Plaza on their wifi.
Whatever happens, I'll show up where it's hidden, whether I win it or not. Look for the 6'8" guy with curly hair and a beard :-D
