Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Just called a CSR. Holding strong to the 7/22 ship date (ordered 6/24) but she siad there is a note saying that phones are shipping in 3 weeks instead of 4 and that mine could ship today and almost certainly this week.
 
OK, first post to the forums. Been lurking since I ordered by HTC Inc, but thought since it shipped today, I could finally post something useful.

Ordered on 6/22, with an estimated ship date of 7/19. It just shipped today (7/14) and should be delivered tomorrow.
 
OMG! Just called the *611 and I HAVE A PENDING ACTIVATION!!!! :-) Talked to a CSR and she gave me my TRACKING ##....WooHoo!! Coming from Memphis, TN to LA (Louisiana not Los Angeles)....never rec'd any email notice

Thought about doing a happy dance, but will save that for the actual delivery just in case the unthinkable happens.

Guess I need to change my user name now. ***Tip when picking your name...don't use funny phone name word play, you never know when you will trade in your phone....hehe

I had the Eris for 2 weeks and took it straight back to VzW because I hated it :-P . Short version is it lagged big time and when I wanted to use it as a phone, it took forever to bring up the keypad and forget about making back to back calls.

I am hoping it comes with the 2gig MicroSD card they promised and that it has the AMOLED screen. If not, will be calling VzW back.

I know, I've had mine for a while but here's the info:

Ordered: 5/25/10
EST Ship: 6/15/10
Act Ship: 6/10/10
Delivery: 6/14/10

Interesting to note, the MFG date is 6/1/10

I wouldn't be worried. Yes we see some shipments of 6/20 and 6/21, but don't forget that there are people on here that ordered 6/11-6/18+ that still haven't gotten notices. It's more of a location thing I think.

But anyways, a 6/22! Oh my god. YES!

Yesterday it was shipping 8/10, this morning 8/3 and now it says 8/2. My first one was sent back last week and I was told it would ship 8/5 perhaps all the ship dates will improve now.

I love my brother. I woke him up this morning before I left to work to have him camp out downstairs by the door for the fedex man. Sure enough fedex man did not arrive till 3p so I might have overreacted, just a bit lol.

Is it true I have to wait a full 8hrs before playing with it??

assuming it works out of the box, you should charge it fully first.

call CS directly. That's the only reason I know mine is coming tomorrow . I did not get an email (even though I ordered online and they confirmed with email) and I did not hear the 611 message. So call CS directly and just ask for the status of your order. I was happy I did. Otherwise I'd be sitting here thinking it wasn't coming.

I'm a 6/19 and I'm PRAYING that it comes today or tomorrow.
Maybe they came on the same shipment from Memphis, lol.

I already ordered two 1500 batteries and those are the only ones I really plan to use. Sooooo, I am thinking I will just charge the stock battery until the lights green (I hear it's about 2 hours?) and then start playing!

If it messes up the battery, who cares?!?! I won't be touching it after tonight. If I had my spare charger already I probably wouldn't even have taken the stock battery out of the box.

That's what I did yesterday! ;) I have a 1750 Seidio I bought off someone local who canceled and one of those $15 eBay batteries everyone talked about. I charged the stock battery which charged in less than an hour and went to town.

Welcome to another Louisiana neighbor. I live on the Bayou as well. I just got mine yesterday and it does have the Amoled screen and it did have an SD card with it.
