Root Unrevoked for Incredible (Recovery reflash tool/Easy root method)

This isnt working for me. It flashes the clockwork mod recovery, then its says it booting into recovery then it claims that it lost communications with the phone and to try again. two seconds later the phone lights up in the recovery menu. WTH is going on here?

another noob question.
How can I tell if it actually did work?

Multiple ways but one easy one is to go to the market and install incredilight. It'll request Su. If its granted you're rooted. Besides you know you've been wanting an led flashlight anyway. Lol. Also if you can do a Nand backup, you're in. And you should ASAP.

downloaded and it forced closed bummer. hopefully I'll get it figured out on another computer

are you on windows 7?

Mine is failing after clockwork is installed, and Im too am on 64bit windows 7. Someone tell the unrevoked guys. The program is not waiting long enough for the phone to get into clockwork before it errors out. This is how it appears. And Incredilight force closed on mine too. No rooty for me.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit and successfully achieved root in one try. I already have the Incredilight, Adfree Android, and Wireless Tether apps working, so I can confirm that I do indeed have root.

can anyone help. when I'm trying to download the drivers in the html file I keep getting android phone in device manager and not android 1.0. sorry for the stupid question and thanks!

Okay i got it to work after previous failures.... heres how

Win7 64bit btw

Uninstalled via add/remove programs, HTC drivers, HTC sync
Deleted sdk folder from previous failed root attempts
Deleted all previous drivers and crap downloaded in the past
(Basically get rid of any crappy drivers youve extracted in the past trying to get root)
Uninstall from device manager, reboot, makesure dev.mgnr shows it has no driver installed.
Download and extract hboot drivers
Install downloaded drivers
Set phone to usb debuggin / disk drive,

Hit the exe and walk away
