What will happen to all the 1.5-only apps when 2.0 arrives?

So I've downloaded a few "only works on 1.5" apps from the Market, and we all know that 2.0 Eclair is coming eventually. But when the phone is updated, what will happen to these apps? I personally have lost track o which apps of mine are 1.5 only, and it would suck if my phone messed up after the 2.0 update because of these apps?

My guess is the developers will/are work/working on making them compatible. By the time the Hero gets 2.0, my guess is, all the apps will already be compatible. The only way it wouldn't if it's an older app that no longer receives support.

If you go into "My Downloads" in the Market, each time you see one of your apps updated, look at the changelog, more often than not, it's going to say "updated to be compatible for 2.0/Now Works with Droid/Now Works with Eris/Etc....". Most of the time, updates don't even really do anything for the Hero, it's just being updated for compatibility for other phones/OS versions
