Hi all...

Currently use a rather spiffy Sony Ericsson K800i which I am happy with but as I do a lot of promoting (bands, concerts, etc.) I like to keep track of the internet and cannot keep lugging my laptop round with me whenever I am out and about so I'm thinking of moving to Android.

So far I wanna get one of two: HTC Hero or Samsung I7500 Galaxy.

I like both phones but both have pros and cons:

both are lovely looking but Hero has flash support and Galaxy has an LED flash on camera.

Hero has gorgeous UI but I can mod the I7500 (admittedly wiping my warranty...)

I can get the Galaxy on O2 on Contract but would have to get SIMless for the HTC Hero.

Help please people.

I'm really torn guys.

I hope you live up to your potential. I looked at your phone back in the day, and decided to keep my dumb phone and use an iPod touch ... now that Verizon has Droids coming, I'm developing some software for my DJ business and LOVING the platform. Good luck deciding on which device to get, and welcome!

It's spelt HELLWYCK and thanks for the advice.

Was just wondering about if I really needed the camera flash and if the galaxy could view flash without the official player.

...And there's the post I was waiting for...

*UPDATE*

Gonna buy HTC hero in White with an O2 Simplicity 12 month contract.
Gonna be sweet and I'll update when it arrives.

You caps (yelling) is not called for... and indicates your lack of respect and maybe not understanding what an Introductions forum is for ...
1. It wasn't yelling, it was in place of bold text and an example of what other people have poted in repies to other people's introductions.

2. Calling the moderators a bunch of ar*eholes, (which I most certainly have not done), is disrespectful, putting a simple example, is not.

3. Having been able to read English since I was 2-3, I am very literate and know what the word introduction means.
also, having been a designer of both web board and sites for a number of years I know what the Introduction forum on a mesage board is for.

I was under the impression that this forum would help new people to Android and boost Androids userbase by showing it to be open minded as well as open source. Instead I get faced with countless acronyms and jargon I don't understand in every other post and abuse from the moderators when I post simple things.
